Efate

The Parliament of Vanuatu (Bislama: Palamen blong Vanuatu; French: Parlement du Vanuatu) is the unicameral legislative body of the Republic of Vanuatu.

The Vanuatu National Library (in Bislama Vanuatu Nasonal Laebri, in French Bibliotheque Nationale du Vanuatu) was established in April 2004 and is located within the Vanuatu Cultural Centre in Port Vila, it contains more than 30,000 books and serves both as a national repository for "rare and special" materials. The National Library also has responsibility for the Port Vila public library.

Quoin Hill Airfield was an airfield in North Efate, in Vanuatu (IATA: UIQ, ICAO: NVVQ). The airfield was used during World War II but is no longer usable as an airstrip.

Port Vila Municipal Stadium is a sports stadium located in Port Vila, Vanuatu. It is the main stadium for the Port Vila Football Association's TVL League and it is the home of OFC Professional League club Vanuatu United

Lololima ist ein Fluss auf der Hauptinsel Efate der Provinz Shefa von Vanuatu. Er ist ein Zufluss des Teouma und verläuft zunächst von Westen nach Osten, passiert Port Vila, die Inselhauptstadt, im Norden und biegt dann nach Süden um. Roi Mata was een machtige 13e-eeuwse Melanesische chief uit de Nieuwe Hebriden (tegenwoordig Vanuatu). Zijn gigantische graf, met daarin de lichamen van meer dan 25 leden van zijn gevolg, werd ontdekt door de Franse archeoloog Jose Garranger in 1967.

Mangaas ist eine aufgegebene Siedlung und eine Ausgrabungsstätte an der Nordwestküste von Efate im pazifischen Inselstaat Vanuatu. Sie war bis in das 16. Jahrhundert Sitz des obersten Häuptlings Roi Mata. Nach dem Tod des letzten Trägers dieses Titels Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts wurde der Ort verlassen und gilt seitdem als Tapu. Seit 2008 ist Mangaas als Teil von Chief Roi Mata’s Domain ein Weltkulturerbe der UNESCO.
