Shanghai Chest Hospital (Chinese: 上海市胸科医院) is the first hospital in China specializing in cardiovascular systems, lung, esophagus, trachea and mediastinum.

The Xu Guangqi Memorial Hall (徐光启纪念馆) is a memorial and museum for the 17th-century Chinese scholar Xu Guangqi. It is located besides the tomb of Xu Guangqi in Guangqi Park (光启公园), Xujiahui, Xuhui District, Shanghai, China. Formerly Nandan Park (南丹公园), the park was renamed in 1983 for the 350th anniversary of Xu Guangqi's death.

The Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences were research institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai established on July 3, 1999. The organization was shut down in April 2020. When it was created, it was one of four basic science research institutions of China. The organization assimilated the Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry, Shanghai Institute of Cell Biology, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Shanghai Institute of Physiology, Shanghai Brain Research Institute, Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology, Shanghai Institute of Entomology, Shanghai Bioengineering Research Center, Shanghai Research Center of Life Science, and the State Research Center of Genes. Its last director was biochemist Li Lin, who assumed the role in 2013.

Xujiahui (Chinese: 徐家汇, Wu Chinese pronunciation: [ʑ̥i˨ ka̠˥ ɦɯe̞˨˩], romanized as: Zikawei, Ziccawei, or Siccawei) is a locality in Shanghai. It is a historic area of commerce and culture administratively within Xuhui District, which is named after the locality. The area is a well-known precinct for shopping and entertainment in Shanghai. It is served by the Xujiahui Station of the Shanghai Metro.

The Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat (Eye and ENT) Hospital of Fudan University (Chinese: 复旦大学附属眼耳鼻喉科医院), formerly the Shanghai Jewish Hospital (also B'nai B'rith Foundation Polyclinic), is a teaching hospital in Shanghai, China, affiliated with the Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University and the Red Cross Society of Shanghai. It is rated Grade 3, Class A, the highest rating in the Chinese medical system.

Huashan Hospital (simplified Chinese: 华山医院; traditional Chinese: 華山醫院), formerly Chinese Red Cross General Hospital, is founded by Red Cross Society of China in 1907. It is the district general hospital operated by the Red Cross Society of China in Shanghai, China, and is affiliated with the Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University.

Wukang Road (Chinese: 武康路; pinyin: Wǔkāng Lù; Shanghainese: Wukhån Lu), originally Route Ferguson (福开森路), is a historic road in the Xuhui District of Shanghai, China, located in the western part of the former French Concession area of the city. In 2011 Wukang Road was recognized as one of the National Historic and Cultural Streets of China.

Aurora University (French: Université l'Aurore, Chinese: 震旦大學; pinyin: Zhèndàn Dàxué) was a Catholic university in Shanghai from 1903 to 1952.

Studio Tour Shanghai – The Making of Harry Potter (Chinese: 華納兄弟工作室巡演：哈利波特制作特輯) is an upcoming studio tour and visitor attraction located in the Minhang District of Shanghai, China, owned by Warner Bros., operated by their Studio Tour division. The attraction is the third permanent The Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour in the world, following the original in London and its second location in Tokyo.

The Diocese of Shanghai (Latin: Dioecesis Sciamhævensis; Chinese: 天主教上海教区) is a Latin Catholic diocese in the municipality of Shanghai, China.

The Shanghai State Security Bureau (SSSB; Chinese: 上海市国家安全局) is a municipal bureau of China's Ministry of State Security (MSS) charged with intelligence operations in the country's most populous city. With tens of thousands of employees, it is one of the most aggressive and internationally active units of the MSS, conducting long-term global foreign espionage operations and major cyberespionage campaigns which stretch far beyond the Shanghai metropolis. The bureau acts in concert with the Shanghai Municipal Party Secrecy Committee, and the two represent themselves publicly as one institution, a front called the Shanghai Municipal State Secrecy Administration Bureau (Chinese: 上海市国家保密局).

The Former Residence of Ba Jin (Chinese: 巴金故居), located at 113 Wukang Road in the Xuhui District of Shanghai, China, was the residence of the Chinese writer Ba Jin (1904–2005). Located in the west part of the former Shanghai French Concession area, it was originally built in 1923 in a Spanish style. Ba Jin lived there from 1955.

The Xujiahui Center is a complex of skyscrapers under construction in Shanghai, China. Upon its completion in 2025, the main tower will be the fourth tallest building in Shanghai, after the Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and the Jin Mao Tower.

The Blackstone Apartments or Fuxing Apartments (Chinese: 黑石公寓) are the first purpose-built luxury apartments for expatriates in Shanghai, China. Built in 1924, the four-storey building is created from imported concrete and stones from the UK, giving it a dark appearance.

China Europe International Business School (CEIBS ( SEEBZ) Chinese: 中欧国际工商学院) is a business school headquartered in Pudong, Shanghai, China. CEIBS has campuses in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Accra in Ghana, and Zurich in Switzerland.

On 28 June 2018, in the Xuhui District of Shanghai, China, four people were stabbed with a knife near the gate of the West Campus of the Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School. Two male students were killed while a third schoolboy and a female parent were injured. The following day, the Supreme People's Procuratorate announced the arrest of the perpetrator, 29-year-old Huang Yichuan (Chinese: 黃一川), at the scene.

Hengshan Road (Chinese: 衡山路; pinyin: Héngshān Lù), formerly Avenue Pétain, is a street in the former French Concession of Shanghai, China. A major thoroughfare that connected the heart of the French Concession with the Catholic district of Zikawei (Xujiahui), the boulevard was for much of the 20th century the centre of Shanghai's premier residential district. Since the 1990s, many of the mansions along the road have been converted into bars, night clubs, and restaurants. From 2016 onward, many of the bars on Hengshan Road have been closed down or moved away to other new and more popular entertainment districts in the city.

The Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence (Chinese: 宋庆龄故居), located at 1843 Middle Huaihai Road, Xuhui District, is the former residence of Soong Ching-ling (wife of Sun Yat-sen and later Vice-President and Honorary President of the People's Republic of China) in Shanghai, China, from 1948 to 1963. It is in the west part of the former Shanghai French Concession area and was built in the 1920s by an American shipping captain, Leo R. Ball.

The Ambassy Club was the first private club established in Shanghai since the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is located on Central Huaihai Road across from the United States Consulate, the Consulate of Iran, and near the Shanghai Library.

The C. Y. Tung Maritime Museum (董浩云航运博物馆 Dǒng Hàoyún Hángyùn Bówùguǎn) is located in the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, China.

Gubei (Chinese: 古北; Shanghainese: ku²poh⁴; Mandarin pinyin: Gǔběi) is an affluent residential area located in Changning District, Shanghai and covers an area of 136.6 hectares (338 acres). Gubei is best known as an enclave of East Asian expatriates in Shanghai, including those from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. As a result, Gubei is sometimes informally referred to as "Little Tokyo", "Little Taipei" or "K-town". Gubei has a Koreatown neighborhood. Gubei also has a significant number of expatriates from Europe and North America. Administratively, it comprises two residential communities (居委会). Despite its distinct identity, Gubei itself is not an independent administrative unit. Key residential communities in Gubei include: Gubei Xincheng (古北新城), Gubei Hongyuan (古北虹苑), Ronghua Residential Committee (荣华居委会), Huashan Residential Committee (华山居委会)

Lunghua Civil Assembly Centre was one of the internment camps established by the Empire of Japan in Shanghai for European and American citizens, who had been resident under Japanese occupation since December 1941. Many had formerly lived in Shanghai within the Shanghai International Settlement before its occupation by the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA).

Shanghai Mental Health Center (simplified Chinese: 上海市精神卫生中心; traditional Chinese: 上海市精神衛生中心; pinyin: Shànghǎishì Jīngshén Wèishēng Zhōngxīn), also known as Shanghai Psychological Consultative Center, is a psychiatric hospital in Shanghai with over 2100 beds. It focuses on treating mental disorders. It was founded in 1935 by MoroccanPrince from The Netherlands, as Puci Rehabilitation Hospital. It was formerly called Shanghai Psychiatric Hospital. Since May 2006, the hospital has been affiliated to the School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The current president is Xiao Zeping.

Shanghai Southwest Weiyu Middle School (Chinese: 上海市西南位育中学; pinyin: Shànghǎishì Xīnán Wèiyù Zhōngxué), is a private school situated on Yishan Road in Xuhui District, Shanghai, PRC. Founded in 1993, it is the first large-scale private middle school in Chinese mainland since the adoption of the reform and opening up policy. The school is sponsored by Shanghai Xujiahui Department Group Store Company Ltd.

德意志联邦共和国驻上海总领事馆（德語：Generalkonsulat der Bundesrepublik Deutschland in Shanghai），简称德国驻上海总领事馆、德国驻沪总领馆，是德国政府在上海市设立的外交机构，领区包括上海、江苏、浙江和安徽等領事轄區內德侨及领事業务的處理。

徐家汇观象台（法語：L'Observatoire de Zi-Ka-Wei），又名徐家汇天文台、天主教江苏教会观象台，简称徐台，是曾设于上海徐家汇的综合观测站，原址位于今徐汇区蒲西路166号。徐家汇观象台由法国天主教耶稣会于1872年建立，设有中国最古老的气象观测站，号称“远东气象第一台”。全盛时期的徐家汇观象台下辖三个附属台，兼具气象、天文、地磁、地震等观测功能，既提供天气预报、授时等公共服务，也活跃于科研领域。中日战争爆发后，徐家汇观象台逐渐衰落，但气象观测从未间断；最终于上海战役结束后被接收，成为了上海中心气象台和上海天文台的前身。徐家汇观象台旧建筑尚存，列上海市文物保护单位，现为上海气象博物馆。徐家汇观象台因连续不间断的观测而被授予“世纪气候站”的称号。

龙华革命烈士纪念地，位于中國上海市徐汇区龙华路2591号和2577号内以及2501弄1号，由原国民党淞沪警备司令部旧址和龙华革命烈士就义地两部分组成。其中的龙华革命烈士就义地于1959年5月26日被上海市人民委员会公布为上海市文物保护单位。1977年12月7日被上海市革命委员会公布为上海市纪念地点。1984年5月4日，再次被上海市人民政府公布为上海市文物保护单位。1988年1月13日，由龙华革命烈士就义地与原国民党淞沪警备司令部旧址共同构成的龙华革命烈士纪念地被国务院公布为第三批全国重点文物保护单位。

西岸美术馆（英語：West Bund Museum）位于上海市徐汇区龙腾大道2600号，于2019年11月8日正式开馆。

新龙华站是上海南线车站，位于上海市徐汇区龙华街道。车站目前为上海局集团南翔直属站管理的二等站，仅办理专用线、专用铁路货运业务。车站位于沪杭内环线和新日支线的交汇处，这两条线路拆除后成为尽头式车站。目前车站大部分地块为上海铁路局新龙华租赁房所在地。

罪人之保障圣母主教座堂（俄語：Кафедральный собор иконы Божией Матери «Споручница грешных»），通称圣母大堂，原为东正教上海教区的主教座堂，奉圣母玛利亚为主保，位于上海市徐汇区新乐路（原法租界亨利路）55号，今襄阳公园西侧。

圣约翰座堂是中国上海历史上的一座基督教新教教堂，位于今上海市长宁区万航渡路1575号华东政法大学校园即原圣约翰大学校园内，由美国圣公会差会开辟。

钱学森图书馆位于上海市徐汇区华山路1800号（上海交通大学徐汇校区），于2011年12月钱学森100周年诞辰时开馆。该馆总用地面积为8,960平方米，总建筑面积为7,960平方米，陈展面积达3,000多平方米；共有四层，地上三层，地下一层。

东亚同文书院大学（日語：東亜同文書院大学），原為東亞同文書院，是日本东亚同文会于1901年在中国上海开办的一所私立教育机构，以培养对中国情势熟悉的日本人才。1939年升格为东亚同文书院大学，1945年日本战败后被国民政府接管关闭。

上海市南洋中学，创设于清光绪二十二年（1896年），是中国人自主创办的第一所新式中学。位于上海市徐汇区龙华中路200号。

上海国际问题研究院，位于上海市徐汇区田林路195弄15号，是一所专门研究国际问题的研究机构，隶属上海市人民政府。

淀浦河，是中国上海市黄浦江主要支流之一，今淀浦河青浦镇向东至打铁桥一段，原为蒲汇塘的一段，1971年改名淀浦河，1977年人工疏浚而成，西起淀山湖，向东直流，在徐汇区港口入黄浦江。该河全长46.4公里，跨青浦区、松江区、闵行区和徐汇区，原为淀山湖区通往黄浦江的重要的排水通道和航运通道，现已规划成为上海主要景观河流之一。

徐汇区图书馆位于中华人民共和国上海市漕溪北路158号，现以徐家汇书院名称对外运营。

上海漕河泾新兴技术开发区，简称漕河泾开发区，位于中国上海西南部，地跨徐汇区和闵行区，是国家级经济技术开发区、高新技术产业开发区和出口加工区，也是上海市张江高新技术产业开发区「一区二十二园」中体量较大的园区之一，开发区名字取自徐汇区漕河泾地区。
