The Eparchy of New Westminster is a Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church ecclesiastical territory or eparchy of the Catholic Church in the Canadian province of British Columbia. The eparchy is a suffragan in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archeparchy of Winnipeg.

At a height of 274.3 m (900 ft) with 81 stories, the mixed-use building would have been significantly taller than any highrise building in the Vancouver area. The skyscraper also would have had the most floors of any building in Canada, exceeding the 78 floors of Aura in Toronto, Ontario. However, due to the proposed height of the project, there was concern that the skyscraper may interfere with air traffic heading to Vancouver International Airport.

The Serpentine Wildlife Management Area is a small wildlife management area located on the south coast of British Columbia in Surrey. The Black Arts Centre (BLAC) is an artist-run gallery in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. The gallery itself was created to serve its largest Black Population. The space was designed to serve not only as a gallery but also as a community space. Owned and operated by black youth located in Surrey, They exist as a way to support and provide resources for Black art and artists within the Greater Vancouver Area. The centre acts as a venue to host Black community organizations' events, workshops and exhibitions. It is located at 3 Civic Plaza and is open from Thursday-Saturday from 1-6 pm. BLAC's gallery is located on "ground-level" with an "accessible washroom" (VanCity, n.d.). The organisation's directors include Olumoroti Soji-George, Vanessa Fajemisin, and Hafiz Akinlusi.
