The Despenser Reredos or Despenser Retable is a medieval altarpiece now in St Luke's Chapel, Norwich Cathedral. It is the cathedral's most important work of art. The altarpiece shows five scenes from the end of Christ's life—his flagellation, his journey to the cross, his crucifixion, events that follow his burial, and the Ascension. The scenes, which are painted on wood in vivid colours, are surrounded by a rectangular frame. The original reredos may originally have been positioned at the cathedral's high altar.

A mass grave, highly probable to have been created during the historically attested episode of antisemitic violence in Norwich on 6 February 1190 CE, existed in a medieval well in the Chapelfield area of the city underneath what is now the Chantry Place shopping centre. Norwich Market (also known as Norwich Provision Market) is an outdoor market consisting of around 200 stalls in central Norwich, England. Founded in the latter part of the 11th century to supply Norman merchants and settlers moving to the area following the Norman conquest of England, it replaced an earlier market a short distance away. It has been in operation on the present site for over 900 years.
My Lord's Garden was a pleasure garden laid out by John Evelyn for Henry Howard, 6th Duke of Norfolk in circa 1663. Consisting of two acres of gardens and orchards in the ruins of the friary of the city's Austin Friars, it was located between the River Wensum and the street Conesford Inferior (later St Faith's Lane, Mountebank Lane) in the parish of St Peter Parmentergate in the Conesford ward. It is Evelyn's only known city garden that was public space (though it was not open to the general public), and the earliest known commercial garden in the city. It is now the site of St Anne's Quarter, though its 'summerhouse', Howard's House, is still extant.
The Duke's Palace was the palatial seat of the Duke of Norfolk in Norwich, England. It was located close to Norwich's Charing Cross in the parish of St John Maddermarket. Built from 1561 to 1567 and enlarged in the 1660s under Henry Howard, 6th Duke of Norfolk, it housed a royal visit from King Charles II of England in 1671, and was rebuilt in a modern style in 1672, also under Howard.
St Mary Unbrent, also known as St Mary in Combusto, was a church in the city of Norwich in Norfolk, England. Possibly founded around 900 AD, its suffixes 'unbrent' and 'combusto' denote its association with a fire early in its history. After a string of rectors and somewhat increasing wealth into the 14th century, poverty in the area led to the church closing and being demolished before 1558 and its parish was merged into that of the neighbouring St Saviour's. Golden Dog Lane, likely an original footpath of the St Mary's churchyard, remains.
St Margaret Fyebriggate, also known as St Margaret in combusto, or St Margaret Combust, was a parish church in the city of Norwich in Norfolk, England. The farthest north within Norwich's medieval city walls and nearby Magdalen Gate, it was located on the western side of Magdalen Street. Following its foundation likely in the 12th century, it is most noted for the use of its graveyard for the burial of executed criminals from as early as its first appearance in records in the mid-13th century until the mid-15th century. The church was possibly in disuse by 1492, and it was partially demolished in 1547.
