Indian Heights is a neighborhood in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana, United States. Indian Heights was a census-designated place (CDP) also before its annexation into Kokomo. The population was 3,011 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Kokomo, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area. On January 1, 2012, the neighborhood of Indian Heights was legally annexed into the city of Kokomo's corporate boundary.

The Continental Steel Corporation was a United States steel producer from 1927 until 1986. The company was created on June 21, 1927, through the merger of the Kokomo Steel and Wire Company (founded in Kokomo, Indiana, in 1901) with the Superior Sheet Steel Company of Canton, Ohio, and the Chapman Price Steel Company of Indianapolis. Among the original eleven directors was John E. Fredrick, who had been an organizer of the Kokomo Fence Machine Company in 1896 and had served on the board of directors of the Kokomo Steel and Wire Company. Fredrick served as first Chairman of the Board of Continental Steel, whose headquarters were established in Kokomo. The Kokomo operations of this corporation, however, continued to employ the Kokomo Steel and Wire name until 1944. Continental Steel was dissolved in 1986, due to bankruptcy.
The Elwood Haynes Museum is a museum in the former mansion owned by Elwood Haynes located in Kokomo, Indiana. Haynes was an inventor who is credited with being the first to produce cars commercially in 1894. He also invented stainless steel and stellite. He became a millionaire in 1916 and had the mansion located on south Webster Street built, where he lived until his death in 1925.

Kokomo Casting Plant is a Stellantis North America automotive factory in Kokomo, Indiana that manufactures aluminum parts for automotive components, transaxle cases, engine blocks, propulsion transmissions. The factory opened in 1965 and was expanded in 1969, 1986, 1995, and 1997. It is the largest die casting factory in the world. In June 2010, Chrysler announced a 300 million dollar investment to retool and modernize the Kokomo Casting for production of a future eight-speed automatic.

It is a work of architect Elmer Dunlap and others, in Late Gothic Revival and Streamline Moderne architectural styles. It has also been known as the Central Middle School and Memorial Gymnasium. The NRHP listing included three contributing buildings on 8 acres (3.2 ha).

The Russiaville Interurban Depot is a former interurban train station in Russiaville, Indiana. Construction on the station building had begun by December 1911 under the Kokomo, Marion and Western Traction Company. It was in service between 1912 and 1932, ultimately under the Northern Indiana Power Company and Indiana Railroad.

Henry W. Smith House is a historic home located in Clay Township, Indiana. It was built in 1859, and is a two-story, brick dwelling on a fieldstone foundation. While primarily Italianate in style, the house incorporates elements of Federal, Gothic Revival, and Greek Revival styles. It has a steep cross-gable and features a front porch with Tuscan order columns.

Hy-Red Gasoline Station, also known as the Hy-Red Gulf Filling Station, is a historic filling station located at Greentown, Indiana. It was built in 1930, and consists of two sections. They are a projecting canopy or porte cochere with a steeply pitched roof supported by four pillars and a one-story small office building. Both sections include multi-colored brown and beige glazed brick. From 1939 to about 1958 it operated as a Gulf Oil filling station and thereafter housed a number of commercial enterprises including a Hickory Farms cheese shop.

Kokomo City Building is a historic municipal building located at Kokomo, Indiana. It was designed by the architecture firm of Wing & Mahurin and built about 1893. It is a two-story, Richardsonian Romanesque style brick and limestone building on a raised basement. It features rounded corner towers topped by conical roofs and a central stone arch entrance. In the rear (Southwest corner) of the building is the former fire station used until 1979.

Lake Erie and Western Depot Historic District is a national historic district located at Kokomo, Indiana. The district includes seven contributing buildings and three contributing structures associated with the Lake Erie and Western Railroad train station at Kokomo. It includes the American Craftsman style passenger and freight depot (1916), a three-story Romanesque Revival style brick building with a limestone facade (1906), a three-story Romanesque influenced brick building (c. 1910), the massive three-story Neoclassical style S. Tudor & Co. building (c. 1905), "The Conwell" (1913), and three sets of railroad tracks.

Learner Building is a historic commercial building located in Kokomo, Indiana. It was built by John Wesley Learner around 1904, and is a two-story, red brick building with a sloping flat roof. Learner was a prominent businessman in Kokomo, though he himself never had a business in the building. The Learner Building is 11 bays wide and has three commercial storefronts. It is a good example of late-19th century commercial architecture and features bold vertical brick patterns and limestone coursing.

The Greentown Glass Museum features locally made glass items and is located at 112 N Meridian Street in Greentown City Hall, Greentown, Indiana. Items include vases, mugs, pitchers, salt cellars, toothpick holders, covered dishes topped by hens, cats, and rabbits, and other decorative items. There is also an exhibit with examples of all the patterns and colors of glass made by the local factory. The items were created beginning in 1894 by the Indiana Tumbler and Goblet Factory, which was sold in 1899 to the National Glass Company, and then shut down the factory in 1903 when a fire destroyed the building.

The Old Silk Stocking Neighborhood is the historic district near downtown Kokomo, Indiana, and the Westside Business District. In 1886, natural gas was discovered in north central Indiana. The area exploded with people, who then developed the neighborhood. This historic area of town was the place where lawyers, doctors, industrialists and even a mayor would come to build their turn of the century residences.
