The wrought iron porch roof is said to have been a gift from a French political figure. It is also rumored that Leroy Eccles built his larger and more stately house at 1029 25th Street in response to Mr. Bristol's house. (Mr. Eccles previously resided at 2555 Eccles Avenue.)

The tabernacle was constructed by Latter-day Saints in Ogden, Utah during the 1850s. The building stood for over one-hundred years, until it was razed in 1971 to make way for the Ogden Utah Temple.

KOGN (1490 AM) is a radio station which is currently silent, but previously broadcast a Regional Mexican format. Licensed to Ogden, Utah, United States, the station serves the Ogden area. The station is owned by Marcos Rivas and Ruth de Alba, through licensee Radio Positivia, Inc. The station was an affiliate of Dial Global's adult standard format. KOGN's signal was also simulcast on nearby KNFL 1470 kHz in Tremonton, Utah. The station was silent for quite some time beginning in 2009. In 2010, the station returned to air with a regional Mexican format. KNFL is no longer simulcasting KOGN, and had its license cancelled by the FCC in 2012.

The Hi-Fi murders were the torture of five people resulting in three deaths during a robbery at the Hi-fi Shop, a home audio store in Ogden, Utah, on the evening of April 22, 1974. Several men entered the Hi-fi Shop shortly before closing time and began taking hostages. They were forced to drink corrosive drain cleaner, which the perpetrators believed would fatally poison their hostages, but instead caused burns to their mouths and throats. Further violence included kicking a pen into an ear and the brutal rape of an eighteen-year-old girl, before three of the victims were fatally shot. The two surviving victims were left with life-changing injuries.

The American Can Company of Utah Building Complex, now known as the AmeriCan Center, is a historic industrial site located in Ogden City, Utah. It was built in 1914 by the American Can Company. By the late 1940s, the plant employed 450 people and produced millions of cans for pea, potato, green bean and fruit crop farmers in Weber County. For a while, the company also manufactured steel beer cans. The company switched to making steel soft drink cans in the 1950s, but closed in 1979 with the advent of aluminum cans.
