The Monument to the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War is an outdoor monument in Pyongyang, North Korea. The monument is outside of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum. The monument itself is a series of statues depicting soldiers of the various branches of the Korean People's Army. The central statue of the collection is known as the Victory Statue and it depicts a soldier of the KPA raising the flag of North Korea. The monument was completed in 1993 to mark the 40th anniversary of the end of the Korean War (or the "Fatherland Liberation War", as it is referred to in North Korea). This includes side monuments titled "Defenders of Altitude 1211", "Liberated south Korea", "Heroes of Wolmido", "Moving the Artillery Gun Up", Peoples' Reinforcement Frontline", "Defenders of Airspace of the Fatherland", War of Liberation of Taejon", Defenders of the Fatherland's Maritime", "Battle of Nakdong River", and "Combat of the Peoples' Guerllia Force". Moored on a nearby bank of the Taedong River is the captured United States Navy spy ship the USS Pueblo.
The Pyongyang Metro (Korean: 평양 지하철도) is the rapid transit system in Pyongyang, the capital and largest city of North Korea. It consists of two lines: the Chollima Line, which runs north from Puhŭng Station on the banks of the Taedong River to Pulgŭnbyŏl Station, and the Hyŏksin Line, which runs from Kwangbok Station in the southwest to Ragwŏn Station in the northeast. The two lines intersect at Chŏnu Station.
The Arch of Reunification, officially the Monument to the Three-Point Charter for National Reunification, was a sculptural arch located south of Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea. It was opened in August 2001 to commemorate Korean reunification proposals put forward by Kim Il Sung. Made of concrete, the arch straddled the multi-laned Reunification Highway leading from Pyongyang to the Korean Demilitarized Zone. The arch appeared on postage stamps issued in 2002, 2015, 2016, and 2021. The monument was demolished in January 2024 after North Korea abandoned reunification.

The Mansudae Art Studio is an art studio in Phyongchon District, Pyongyang, North Korea. It was founded in 1959, and it is one of the largest centers of art production in the world, at an area of over 120,000 square meters. The studio employs around 4,000 people, 1,000 of whom are artists picked from the best academies in North Korea. Most of its artists are graduates of Pyongyang University. The studio consists of 13 groups, including those for woodcuts, charcoal drawings, ceramics, embroidery and jewel paintings, among other things.

Mangyongdae (Korean: 만경대) is a neighborhood in Mangyongdae-guyok, Pyongyang, North Korea. North Korean propaganda claims that Mangyongdae is the birthplace of North Korean leader Kim Il Sung, although in his memoirs he wrote that he had been born in the nearby neighborhood of Chilgol. The Mansudae Apartments (Korean: 만수대 아파트) is a 17-building high-rise residential complex in Pyongyang, North Korea, inaugurated on April 15, 2012. Buildings 1 and 2 are the tallest in the hierarchy of the complex, standing at 146 metres (480 ft) tall each, both being divided into 45 floors.

The Munitions Industry Department of the Workers' Party of Korea (Korean: 조선로동당 군수공업부) is a specialized department within the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. It implements the party's military industry policies. It has the Second Economic Committee under its jurisdiction. The department work closely with the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea. It plays an important role in North Korea's missile program, overseeing the development of ballistic missiles. In the mid-1970s the Department of Machinery Industry within the WPK was established. In January 1993 it was renamed to the Department of Munitions Industry. In September 2010 renamed to the Department of Machinery Industry apparently to conceal its activity and avoid sanctions. In January 2016 it was renamed again to the Ministry of Munitions Industry.

The Mangyongdae Funfair (Korean: 만경대유희장) is an amusement park located in Mangyongdae-guyok, 12 kilometres from Pyongyang, North Korea. It has an area of 70 hectares including a funfair and wading pool. In autumn 2011 the funfair was reported to have little or no Korean patronage. It has been alleged that there is a lack of genuine customers with many visitors being bussed in to the attraction. It had a roller coaster, which, while operational, was in poor repair. It has a daily capacity of 100,000 people and there is a merry-go-round and a ridable miniature railway.
