Eastern and Midland Region is a subdivision of Ireland as defined by the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS). It is one of the three classified NUTS-2 statistical regions of Ireland. The region incorporates the eastern parts of the country, and incorporates 12 counties across the Mid-East, Midlands, and Dublin regions. With a population of more than 2.5 million, and it is the most populated of the three regions of Ireland. With a high HDI, the region is classified as one of the more developed regions in the European Union.

Maddenstown (Irish: Baile Uí Mhadaín) is a village in County Kildare, Ireland, south of The Curragh and east of Kildare town. It is situated in the barony of Offaly West and the parish of Ballysax.
Clann na nGael is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the Rathcairn and Athboy area of County Meath in Ireland. The club was founded in 2002, combining the two former GAA teams of O'Growney Club Athboy (a hurling and football club), and An Ghaeltacht Rath Cairn (football-only club). The club fields both Gaelic football and hurling teams. It competes in Meath GAA competitions. The club takes part in the annual Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta also.
