Ardara (English: ar-DRAH; Irish: Ard an Rátha, meaning 'height of the fort') is a small town in County Donegal, Ireland. It is located on the N56 and R261 roads. The population as of the 2022 census was 785. The population of 731 at the 2011 Census represented an increase of about 30% since 2006. In 2012, The Irish Times named it the best village in which to live in Ireland.

Gleann Cholm Cille, anglicised as Glencolumbkille or Glencolmcille, is a small district on the Atlantic coast of southwest County Donegal in Ireland. Named after Saint Colm Cille (Columba), it is also a civil parish in the historic barony of Banagh. Glencolmcille is in the Gaeltacht, and while it remains an Irish-speaking community, English has been steadily replacing Irish as the main language, with only 34% of residents speaking Irish on a daily basis in 2002. The village of Cashel is the main settlement in the district.

It is a small single street village with a population of around 300 in its surroundings. There is a dun on the edge of the village from which Dunkineely derives its name. The village lies at the top of St John's Point, a narrow peninsula jutting seven miles into Donegal Bay.
