The White Drin or White Drim (Albanian: Drini i Bardhë, Serbian: Бели Дрим / Beli Drim), is a river in Kosovo and northern Albania, a ca. 140-kilometre (87 mi) long headstream of the Drin.

Upper Defsko Lake (Albanian: Liqeni i Epërm i Defskos, Serbian: Горње дефско језеро / Gornje defsko jezero) is a mountain lake situated in the Šar Mountains at an elevation of 2,130 m (6,988 ft) above sea level in Kosovo. A small stream originates from Upper Defsko Lake and flows south to join with the Radika river.
The Suva Reka massacre (Albanian: Masakra e Suharekës, Serbian: Masakr u Suvoj Reci) refers to the mass murder of Kosovo Albanian civilians committed by Serbian police officers on 26 March 1999 in Suva Reka, Kosovo, during the 1999 NATO bombings of Yugoslavia.
The Self-government of Mirdita, officially the Republic of Mirdita, was a short-lived self-administered republic in northern Albania that existed between July 17 and November 20, 1921. Led by Marka Gjoni and his followers, the Roman Catholic tribes of Mirdita instigated a revolt in June 1921 and proclaimed a new state at Prizren with support from Yugoslavia. The creation of this new self-government was a Yugoslav attempt to undermine Albanian autonomy by using Marka Gjoni as a puppet, and cause chaos within Albania. The rebellion was a response to the Albanian regency and parliament established after World War I.
Prevalla is a ski resort and touristic village which approximately is 30 km (19 mi) away from Prizren, Kosovo and about twelve kilometers from Brezovica, the largest ski center in Kosovo. Prevalla is a popular destination for hikers or skiers. The village borders a large forest. During the summer, people go there to relax and rest, whereas during the winter people visit it for its seasonal recreational sports. It lies 1,800 m (5,900 ft) above sea level. Prevalla is located in the south of Kosovo in the Sharr Mountains, in the road leads from Prizren via Prevalla to Shtrpce (Strpce).
Opolje (Albanian: Opoja/Opojë; Serbian: Опоље) is a region in the southern part of the municipality of Prizren in southern Kosovo. The region has 19 villages mainly inhabited by Kosovo Albanians.
The District of Prizren (Albanian: Rajoni i Prizrenit, Serbian: Призренски округ, romanized: Prizrenski okrug) is one of the seven districts of Kosovo. Its seat is in the city of Prizren. According to the 2011 Census, it has a population of 331,670 and an area of 2,024 square km (around 20% of the total area of Kosovo). Albanians form the majority of the district (85%). However, the district of Prizren is home to the biggest Bosniak and Turkish population in Kosovo, who make around 10% of the district's total population.
Višegrad (Serbian Cyrillic: Вишеград, Albanian: Vishegrad), or Prizrenac (Serbian Cyrillic: Призренац), is a fortress located 2 km southeast of Prizren in the Bistrica gorge. It was constructed in the mid 14th century and is on the list of monuments of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences, as well as the cultural monuments of Kosovo. It is currently in ruins.

Carraleva (Albanian: Carralevë; Serbian: Црнољева, romanized: Crnoljeva) is a mountain in central Kosovo, dividing its two main geographical regions, the Kosovo Plain and Metohija. Carraleva is also a point where all three drainage basins of Kosovo (and three out of four in the Balkans) meet, making the mountain a major hydrographic knot. It is named after the village of Carraleva.
Kabash is a mountain near Korisha in the Prizren Municipality of Kosovo. It is named after the Albanian Kabashi tribe, and is part of the wider Kabash Mountains chain (Bjeshkët e Kabashit) that belongs to the Sharr Mountains. It also holds the remains of the Saint Mark Koriški Monastery.
The Muderis Ali Efendi Mosque (Albanian: Xhamia e Myderis Ali Efendisë; Turkish: Müderris Ali Efendi Camii), also named Mosque of Ali Hoxha (Albanian: Xhamia e Ali Hoxhës), is a mosque in Prizren, Kosovo. Built between 1543 and 1581, it is one of the oldest mosques in Kosovo. It is situated on the street "Rr. Papa Gjon Pali" down the hill from the Catholic Cathedral of Prizren, with its triangle shaped space it occupies 877 m2, it was declared by Prizren Municipality in 1989 as a cultural monument. Its founder, Ali Effendi, who was at that time the Muderis of Prizren is buried in the garden. After World War II it was used as a Red Cross center and was heavily damaged because of improper conduct. In 1963, a fire broke out and further damaged the mosque (according to the city there was a fire in 1975). It is known for its role in the 1905 boycott of Catholic shops in Prizren.
The Lumbardhi i Prizrenit, or Prizren Bistrica (Albanian: Bistrica e Prizrenit; Serbian: Призренска Бистрица, romanized: Prizrenska Bistrica) is a river in Kosovo. It flows through Prizren, the second most populous city in Kosovo, and empties into the White Drin river. It is 18 km (11 mi) long, and has a drainage basin of 158 km2 (61 sq mi). It stems from the Sharr Mountains.

It is one of the higher peaks in Kosovo.
Gazi Mehmet Pasha's Mosque (Albanian: Xhamia e Gazi Mehmet Pashës) also known as the Bajrakli Mosque (Albanian: Xhamia e Bajraklisë) is a mosque in the city of Prizren. It is one of the oldest Islamic religious sites in Kosovo. Building started in 1561 and finished in 1573. Its building is part of a complex which included the mosque, a library, a maktab and madrasa, public baths, housing and other buildings in a radius of about 150m. The present-day League of Prizren museum was one of its buildings. The complex stands on the other side of the Lumbardhi i Prizrenit river opposite to the Prizren Fortress. The mosque has a square base and numerous windows, while the main mihrab and the mimber are made of marble.
Gemitash (Serbian Cyrillic: Гемиташ, Albanian: Gemitash) is a mountain in Kosovo, located in the Šar Mountains. It reaches a height of 2,183 metres (7,162 ft). It is surrounded by many lakes and is near the village of Restelica.

On 13 May 1999, NATO aircraft bombed the village of Koriša, Kosovo during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. At least 87 civilians were killed and 60 wounded. NATO officials claimed before and after the bombing that the bombing was on a legitimate military target.

The Halveti's tekke (Albanian: Teqja e Halvetive) is a 350-year-old tariqah in the center of Prizren. The tekke object of the Halveti is found in the Saraçët neighborhood, near the Kukli Mehmed Bey's mosque. The Havlet Tariqah was established at the end of the 16th century, by father Osman who came to Prizren and lived in Kukli Mehmet-Bey's mosque. The object is simple, built of stone and mud while the coverage is made from traditional brick. The tekke complex consists of several buildings, such as the tekke, rites room (semihane), shrine, residential building and waiting room. More generally, the complex consists of two parts – the tekke and the rites room.
The Prizren incident was a confrontation between German Kosovo Force (KFOR) troops advancing into Kosovo and stragglers from the withdrawing Yugoslav Army. The shootout took place in the city of Prizren, on 13 June 1999. The German troops killed one armed Serb on the spot, while another one died of wounds later. A German soldier was injured by return fire, and there were reports of a woman wounded by Serb snipers.

Korisha Fortress is a hilltop fortress in Kosovo that dates back to prehistoric and ancient times. It has archaeological and historical values as a site of a Paleo-Christian church of the 6th century, as well as various ceramic vessels from different periods. The fortress overlooks the Prizren plain and the Dukagjin plain, and was declared under permanent protection by the Kosovo Council for Cultural Heritage in 2016.

On December 14, 1998, the Yugoslav Army (VJ) ambushed a group of 140 Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) militants attempting to smuggle weapons and supplies from their base in Albania into the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. A five-hour battle ensued, ending with the deaths of 36 militants and the capture of a further nine. Dozens more fled back to Albania, abandoning large quantities of weapons and supplies, which the Yugoslav authorities subsequently seized. The ambush was the most serious war-related incident in Kosovo since a U.S.-negotiated truce took effect two months before. It came on the heels of increasing tensions in the province, where inter-ethnic violence had been escalating steadily since early 1995.
Church of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul was a Serbian Orthodox church located in Suva Reka, city and seat of the eponymous municipality in central Kosovo and Metohija. The church was built in 1938, and it belonged to the Diocese of Raška and Prizren of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Prizrenasja Hydro Power Plant Museum (Albanian: Muzeu i Elektroekonomisë - Hidroelektrana "Prizrenasja") is located on the Lumbardh River mouth 2.5 km (1.6 mi) from Prizren, Kosovo. It was built in 1929 as the first electric power plant in Kosovo. It supplied the town with electricity for 44 years, until 1 November 1973. On 8 November 1979 it opened as the Electrical Museum of Kosovo, exhibiting many original materials and photographs that reflect the development of the electrical economy in Kosovo.
Bardhalevë is a mountain peak in the border between Kosovo and North Macedonia. The peak is part of the Sharr Mountains. Bardhalevë has an altitude of 2,334 m (7,657 ft) and it is part of the Sharr Mountains National Park.
The Diocese of Prizren and Pristina (Latin: Dioecesis Prisrianensis e Pristinensis, Albanian: Dioqeza Prizren Prishtinë, Serbian: Eparhija Prizrensko-Prištinska) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in Kosovo. It is centered in the city of Prizren. It was erected as an apostolic administration in 2000, after being split from the Diocese of Skopje and Prizren, and elevated to the rank of diocese in 2018.
