St. Kateri Tekakwitha Elementary school (formally known as Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha) is a Catholic school located on 6400 Beausejour Orleans Ontario. The current Principal is Mr. Sean McGuire & the the Trustee is Joanne MacEwan. St Kateri (SKT for Short) has multiple clubs and activities for grades 4-6 such as dance club, However there are activities such as Choir for Grades 1-6. The staff at SKT is very kind and it is a very good school with a good education.

The Ottawa Self-Transcendence 24 Hour Race was part of a triple Ultramarathon race (6h, 12h, and 24h) in the National Capital Region Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Organized by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team the run took place in July. For many years, this race was held on an outdoor track at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility, and then indoors at the Louis Riel dome, on a 400-meter track. Since 2017, the race was held outdoors at the Asticou Training Centrein Gatineau, Quebec (3 km from Ottawa). Runners from Canada and all over the world participated. It was the longest-running 24 hour race and oldest timed ultrarace worldwide. Runners from Canada and all over the world participate.

Millennium station is a small bus terminal and park and ride operated by OC Transpo in the suburb of Orléans in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, just south of the intersection of Innes Road and Trim Road. Officially opening in September 2007, it is the easternmost station in Ottawa's bus rapid transit system and it serves as the eastern terminus of routes 25, 30 and 39. It is also located just southwest of École secondaire Gisèle-Lalonde, aswell as Millennium Sports Park being in close distance of the station.

The Convent Crash, also known as the Orléans air disaster and Villa St. Louis disaster, occurred on May 15, 1956, after a CF-100 fighter jet crashed into Villa St. Louis, a convent in the community of Orleans, Ontario, Canada. The two pilots were killed in the crash, along with 13 people in the building: 11 members of the Grey Nuns, a civilian servant, and the chaplain, a retired naval padre.

Mer Bleue Bog is a 33.43 km² (12.91 sq mi) protected area in Gloucester, Ontario, an eastern suburb of Ottawa in Eastern Ontario, Canada. Its main feature is a sphagnum bog that is situated in an ancient channel of the Ottawa River and is a remarkable boreal-like ecosystem normally not found this far south. Stunted black spruce, tamarack, bog rosemary, blueberry, and cottongrass are some of the unusual species that have adapted to the acidic waters of the bog.

St. Peter Catholic High School is a Catholic high school located in Orléans, a suburb of Ottawa, Canada. The current principal is Linda Meulenbroek. The school includes grades 7–12 and also a preschool/daycare service. During the 2019–2020 school year, 525 intermediate (grades 7–8) and 1,235 high-school (grades 9–12) students were enrolled.

Montréal is an under construction rail station on the Confederation Line in Ottawa, Ontario. It will be located in the median of Highway 174 at Montreal Road. It is being constructed as part of the Stage 2 O-Train expansion and is scheduled for completion in 2025. The station will consist of an island platform and will have two entrances; one on each side of Montreal Road. Bus connections will be available at each entrance.

Piperville is a small rural community in Cumberland Ward in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, about 4 kilometres southwest of Carlsbad Springs and 16 kilometres southeast of Downtown Ottawa.

Le MIFO exploite le Centre culturel d'Orléans, inauguré en 1985, présente des spectacles au Centre des arts Shenkman et propose entre autres des services de garde, une école de musique, une galerie d'art et un centre de vie active pour aînés.
