North Battleford

The Battlefords is the collective name given to the adjacent communities of the City of North Battleford and the Town of Battleford in west-central Saskatchewan, Canada. As of the 2011 census, the two communities have a combined population of 18,744 and a total regional population of 19,623.

It is adjacent to the City of North Battleford and is home to the Saskatchewan Hospital North Battleford.

The plant was constructed and commissioned in December 2010 at a cost of $250 M CDN. The plant is controlled remotely by satellite from Regina.

Saskatchewan Hospital North Battleford (SHNB) is a public psychiatric hospital in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. It is owned by the Government of Saskatchewan and operated by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
