Ramsgate railway station serves the town of Ramsgate in Thanet in Kent, England. The station lies on the Chatham Main Line, 79 miles 21 chains (127.6 km) down the line from London Victoria, the Kent Coast Line, and the Ashford to Ramsgate (via Canterbury West) line. The station is managed by Southeastern, which (including Southeastern High Speed) operates all trains serving it.

The club was founded in 1945 and was known as Ramsgate Athletic until 1972. After playing in the original Kent League in the 1950s, Ramsgate joined the Southern League in 1959. In 1976 they resigned from this league and returned to county-level competition in a new Kent League. In 2005 Ramsgate gained promotion to the Isthmian League Division One and secured a second consecutive promotion to the Premier Division a year later. Ramsgate were relegated in 2009 and have since played at the seventh level of the English football league system.

The building is now Granville House, a private residence containing 48 self-contained flats that are managed by the leaseholders.
The Grange is a house in Ramsgate, Kent, on the south coast of England. It was designed as his own home by the Victorian architect and designer Augustus Pugin, and built between 1843 and 1844. The Grange is built in Gothic Revival style, Pugin intending it to be both a home and a manifesto for his architectural philosophy. Rescued from demolition by the Landmark Trust in 1997, the Grange is a Grade I listed building.

It was the first Benedictine monastery to be built in England since the Reformation. In 2010, the monks moved to St Augustine's Abbey in Chilworth, Surrey. The site is now owned by the Vincentian Congregation from Kerala, India. The church of St Augustine, across the road from the abbey site, belongs to the Archdiocese of Southwark and is a shrine of St Augustine of Canterbury.
