Luohu District

The Luohu Port (Chinese: 罗湖口岸; pinyin: Luóhú Kǒu'àn) is a port of entry/border crossing between mainland China and Hong Kong, located in Luohu District of Shenzhen and Lo Wu, New Territories of Hong Kong. It sits within the Frontier Closed Area. The control point is integrated with Lo Wu station of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) and Luohu station of the Shenzhen metro, the Hong Kong counterpart being Lo Wu Control Point.

Shun Hing Square (Chinese: 信兴广场), also known as "Di Wang Tower" (地王大厦) is a 384-meter (1,260 ft)-tall skyscraper in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, China. Upon its completion in 1996, it became the tallest building in China, until being surpassed by CITIC Plaza in the next year.

Shenzhen railway station (Chinese: 深圳站; pinyin: Shēnzhèn zhàn, formerly Shum Chun station), also unofficially known as Luohu railway station (Chinese: 罗湖站; pinyin: Luóhú zhàn), is located across from Luohu Commercial City in Nanhu Subdistrict, Luohu District of Shenzhen, Guangdong. It is the southern terminus of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway.

Grand Theater station (simplified Chinese: 大剧院站; traditional Chinese: 大劇院站; pinyin: Dà Jùyuàn Zhàn; Jyutping: Daai6 Kek6 Jyun2 Zaam6), formerly Dajuyuan is an interchange station between Line 1, Line 2 and Line 5 of the Shenzhen Metro. The Line 1 platforms opened on 28 December 2004, the Line 2 platforms opened on 28 June 2011 and the Line 5 platforms opened on 28 December 2025. It is located underneath the junction of Shennan Donglu (深南东路) and Jiefang Road (解放路) in the Luohu District of Shenzhen, China. The station takes its name from the Shenzhen Grand Theater (深圳大剧院). It is the closest station to The MixC (a major luxury shopping mall) and the Shenzhen Book City. It is an interchange station between Lines 1, 2 and 5, and an indirect interchange with Line 9 and Line 11 at Hongling South Station.

Luohu station (simplified Chinese: 罗湖站; traditional Chinese: 羅湖站; pinyin: Luóhú Zhàn; Cantonese Jyutping: Lo4 Wu4 Zaam6) is an underground terminus of Line 1 of the Shenzhen Metro in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. It is located beneath the East Plaza of Shenzhen railway station in Shenzhen's Luohu District. It is the second-busiest station in the network in terms of system entries and exits, with approximately 56,400 passengers a day.

Laojie station (Chinese: 老街站; pinyin: Lǎojiē zhàn; Jyutping: Lou5 Gaai1 Zaam6; lit. 'Old Street station') is a station on the Shenzhen Metro. It provides cross-platform interchange between Line 1 and Line 3. The station is the busiest on the network with 61,600 passenger entries and exits a day. The Line 1 platforms opened on 28 December 2004 and the Line 3 platforms opened on 28 June 2011. It is located underneath the junction of Shennan Fudao (simplified Chinese: 深南辅道; traditional Chinese: 深南輔道), Jiefang Road (解放路) and Jianshe Road (建设路; 建設路) in the Luohu District of Shenzhen, China. The station is the closest to the Dongmen Business Area (东门商业区; 東門商業區), one of the oldest areas in Shenzhen established in the Ming dynasty.

Luohu District is a district of Shenzhen, China, located north of the New Territories of Hong Kong, east of Futian District, southeast of Longgang District, southwest of Pingshan District, and west of Yantian District. It is one of the oldest parts of the city, having represented Shenzhen as a fishing village before 1953 and a market town from 1953 to 1979, when Bao'an County was promoted to a prefecture-level city and renamed Shenzhen.

Huangbeiling station (simplified Chinese: 黄贝岭站; traditional Chinese: 黃貝嶺站; pinyin: Huángbèilǐng Zhàn; Jyutping: Wong4 Bui3 Leng5/Ling5 Zaam6) is an interchange station on Line 2 and Line 5 of the Shenzhen Metro. Line 2 platforms opened on 28 June 2011 and Line 5 platforms opened on 22 June 2011. This station is located underneath Shennan East Road.

Panglin Plaza (simplified Chinese: 彭年广场; traditional Chinese: 彭年廣場; pinyin: Péngnián Guǎngchǎng) is a 57-floor 240 metre (787 foot) tall skyscraper completed in 1999 located in Shenzhen, China. It served as The Hilton until April 2006, since then it is The PangLin Hotel.

Hongfa Temple (Chinese: 弘法寺; pinyin: Hóngfǎ Sì; Jyutping: Wang4 Faat3 Zi6*2) is a Buddhist temple located at Fairylake Botanical Garden, Luohu District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.

Buxin station (Chinese: 布心站; pinyin: Bùxīn Zhàn; Jyutping: bou³ sam¹ zaam⁶) is a station on Line 5 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 22 June 2011. It is located under the intersection of Dongxiao Road and Donghu Road.

Caopu station (Chinese: 草埔站; pinyin: Cǎopù Zhàn; Jyutping: cou2 bou3 zaam6) is a station on Line 3 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 December 2010. This station served as the terminus of the line until the extension to Yitian on 28 June 2011.

Cuizhu station (Chinese: 翠竹站; pinyin: Cuìzhú Zhàn; Jyutping: ceoi3 zuk1 zaam6) is a station on Line 3 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 June 2011. It is located at Cuizhu Road, Cuizhu Subdistrict, Luohu District, Shenzhen, China.

Guomao station (simplified Chinese: 国贸站; traditional Chinese: 國貿站; pinyin: Guómào Zhàn; lit. 'International Trade Centre station'; Cantonese Jyutping: Gwok3 Mau6 Zaam6) is a station on Line 1 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 December 2004. It is located underneath the junction of Renmin South Road (人民南路) and Jiabin Road (嘉宾路; 嘉賓路) in Luohu District, Shenzhen, China. It is named after the Guomao Building (International Trade Centre Building) (国贸大厦; 國貿大廈). Along with the adjacent Laojie Station (where it is now used for cross-platform interchange), Guomao Station has an unusual layout with the two tracks situated above each other on two levels.

Tai'an station (Chinese: 太安站; pinyin: Tài'ān Zhàn; Jyutping: taai3 on1 zaam6) is an interchange station of Line 5 and Line 7 on the Shenzhen Metro. Line 5 platforms opened on 22 June 2011 and Line 7 platforms opened on 28 October 2016. This station is located under Dongxiao Road.

Tianbei station (simplified Chinese: 田贝站; traditional Chinese: 田貝站; pinyin: Tiánbèi Zhàn; Jyutping: tin4 bui3 zaam6) is a station on Line 3 and Line 7 of the Shenzhen Metro. The Line 3 platforms opened on 28 June 2011 and the Line 7 platforms opened on 28 October 2016. It is located on Cuizhu Road.

Xinxiu station (Chinese: 新秀站; pinyin: Xīnxìu Zhàn; Jyutping: san1 sau3 zaam6) is a metro station on Line 2 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 June 2011. This station served as the terminus of the line until the extension through Line 8 via Liantang to Yantian Road on 28 October 2020.

Shuibei station (simplified Chinese: 水贝站; traditional Chinese: 水貝站; pinyin: Shuìbèi Zhàn; Jyutping: seoi2 bui3 zaam6) is a station of Shenzhen Metro Line 3. It started operations on 28 June 2011, and it is the first station that connected with the old Shenzhen Metro Line 3 which used to terminate at Caopu.

Shaibu station (Chinese: 晒布站; pinyin: Shàibù Zhàn) is a station on Line 3 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 June 2011. It is located at the intersection of Shaibu and Middle Dongmen Roads.

Luohu Commercial City (Chinese: 罗湖商业城) is an enclosed shopping mall located on the Shenzhen side of the Shenzhen River, right outside the entrance/exit to Luohu Immigration Control Point. Also called "Luohu commercial market", it is popular with Hong Kong residents for cheap counterfeit "as good as original" clothes, merchandise and electronics.

Sungang railway station, formerly "Shenzhen North railway station," is a freight station in Luohu District of Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The current station was opened in June 1973 and is on Guangshen railway and Jingjiu railway.

Liantang Checkpoint station (Chinese: 莲塘口岸站; pinyin: Liántáng Kǒu'àn Zhàn; Jyutping: lin4 tong4 hau2 on6 zaam6) is a station on Line 2 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 October 2020.

The Guomao Building (Chinese: 国贸大厦, otherwise known as International Foreign Trade Centre) is an office tower and one of the earliest skyscrapers in Shenzhen, China. Its fast construction process was termed the "Shenzhen speed".

Shenzhen Grand Theater (Chinese: 深圳大剧院) is a theater located in Luohu District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, at No. 5018 Shennan East Road. It was one of the "Eight Major Cultural Facilities" built by the government during the early establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. Construction began in 1984, and it officially opened in 1989.

Huangbei Subdistrict (pinyin: Huángbèi Jiēdào) is a subdistrict of the Luohu, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.

Shenzhen Reservoir is the largest man-made lake in Shenzhen. It belongs to the first grade water source protection area (一级水源保护区) and is part of Shenzhen's water supply network. The reservoir's drainage basin covers about 65 km² of urban and forested land in southern Guangdong province.

The station is an indirect interchange with Line 1 and Line 2 at Grand Theater Station. The Line 11 station opened on 28 December 2025.

Honghu Park (simplified Chinese: 洪湖公园; traditional Chinese: 洪湖公園; pinyin: Hónghú Gōngyuán) is a public, urban park in Luohu District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Located in Luohu District, Honghu Park is bordered by Sungang Bridge on the South, Honghu West Road on the West, Nigang Bridge on the North, and Honghu East Road and Wenjin North Road on the East. It is a comprehensive park of the theme of lotus, with water activities as feature entertainment activities. It covers an area of 591,500-square-metre (6,367,000 sq ft), of which land area of 324,600-square-metre (3,494,000 sq ft), and water area of 266,900-square-metre (2,873,000 sq ft). Honghu Park was officially opened to the public in 1984. Established in September 1984, Honghu Park is a multifunctional botanical garden and scenic spot integrating scientific research, lotus species collection and display as well as tourism.

Shenzhen People's Hospital (Traditional Chinese: 深圳市人民醫院; Simplified Chinese: 深圳市人民医院). The hospital is the oldest hospital in modern Shenzhen and a Chinese national Tertiary A (Grade III Class A) hospital. It was founded in 1946 and renamed to its current name in 1979. The hospital is a non-directly affiliated teaching hospital of Jinan University and a directly affiliated hospital of Southern University of Science and Technology.

Wutong Mountain South station (Chinese: 梧桐山南站; pinyin: Wútóngshān Nán Zhàn) is a station on Line 8 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 October 2020.

Liantang station (Chinese: 莲塘站; pinyin: Liántáng Zhàn; Jyutping: lin4tong4 zaam6) is a metro station on Line 2 and Line 8 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 October 2020.

Luohu North station (Chinese: 罗湖北站; pinyin: Luóhú Běi Zhàn; Jyutping: lo4 wu4 bak1 zaam6) is a station of Shenzhen Metro Line 14. It opened on 28 October 2022. It is part of the Luohu North transport hub integrated with the under construction Luohu North railway station which is part of the Shenzhen–Shanwei high-speed railway.

深圳汽车站，又称银湖汽车站，位于罗湖区银湖北环大道1000号，创办于1949年，1993年迁至现址，现有建筑面积23200平方米，停车泊位10000平方米，有40个卡位i，市大型汽车客运场站之一，由深圳运发集团运营，同时也是该集团总部所在地。

Citymark Center (Chinese: 城脉中心), also known as Chengmai Center and Citymark Financial Center, is a supertall skyscraper in Shenzhen, Guangdong, People's Republic of China. The building is 388 meters high and has 70 floors. Construction began in 2018 and was completed in 2022. The building was the tallest completed in China in 2022, and the second-tallest worldwide that year.
