Die Martinsburg, auch Schloss Martinsburg oder Martinsschloss genannt, ist eine Schlossanlage in Lahnstein. Sie wurde 1298 als Zollburg der Erzbischöfe von Mainz errichtet und trug ursprünglich den Namen Burg Lahnstein. Der Mainzer Erzbischof erbaute neben der Stadtmauer in Lahnstein auch diese Anlage, die eine der wenigen unzerstörten Burgen am Mittelrhein ist. Sie befindet sich heute in Privatbesitz und beherbergt neben Wohnungen und Büros ein Fastnachtsmuseum sowie eine Münzprägeanstalt.

The 1930s Loreley Amphitheatre is on top of the rock.

Der Port-Turm ist ein Wehrturm in Balduinstein. Der um 1430 als Teil der Ortsbefestigungsanlage gebaute Turm steht nahe der Lahn. Der Grundriss des Turms ist ein Oktogon. Seine Höhe beträgt 17 m, sein Durchmesser 8 m. Er wird von einem Zinnenkranz umgeben, darunter befindet sich ein Fries mit Kielbogen. Der Turm hat drei Räume und die Decken sind Kreuzgratgewölbe aus leichten Spitzbögen. Der Eingang befand sich ursprünglich im dritten Geschoss, erst 1930 wurde eine Eingangstür in das erste Geschoss geschlagen.

It is often referred to as Schönau Abbey of Nassau (because it was founded by the House of Nassau and was located in their lands) or Schönau Abbey in Taunus, in order to differentiate it from the other Schönau Abbey in Baden-Württemberg. This Schönau Abbey is most well known as the convent of St. Elizabeth of Schönau.

The 13th-century castle stands on a steep rock salient above the confluence of the Lahn River with the Rhine, opposite Stolzenfels Castle, in the district of Oberlahnstein. Its symmetrical plan, an oblong rectangle, is typical of the later castles of the time of the Hohenstaufen. The pentagonal shape of the bergfried is rare for castle towers.

It lies approximately 30 km south of Koblenz, and it is above all famous for the Lorelei rock nearby. Sankt Goarshausen is the seat of the Loreley collective municipality. The town's economy is based on wine making and tourism.

Katz Castle (German: Burg Katz) is a castle above the German town of Sankt Goarshausen in Rhineland-Palatinate. The castle stands on a ledge looking downstream from the riverside at Sankt Goar. It was first built around 1371 by Count William II of Katzenelnbogen. The castle was bombarded in 1806 by Napoleon and rebuilt in the late 19th century, in 1896–98. It is now privately owned, and not open for visitors.

Lahnstein (German pronunciation: [ˈlaːnʃtaɪn] ) is a verband-free town of Rhein-Lahn-Kreis in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated at the confluence of the Lahn with the Rhine, approximately 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) south of Koblenz. Lahnstein was created in 1969 by the merger of the previously independent towns of Oberlahnstein (or Upper Lahnstein) on the south side of the Lahn (above the river mouth) and Niederlahnstein on the north side (below the river mouth). In 2020, it had a population of 18,030.
