Platani (Greek: Πλατάνι) is a village in the municipal unit of Rio, Achaea, Greece. It is situated in the northern foothills of the Panachaiko mountain. It is 4 km east of Rio, and 2 km south of Agios Vasileios.

Tsoukalaiika (Greek: Τσουκαλαίικα, also: Τσουκαλέικα) is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Vrachnaiika in the northern part of Achaea, Greece. It is on the southwestern edge of the metropolitan area of Patras, on the Gulf of Patras, 13 km southwest of Patras city centre. It is located on the Greek National Road 9 (Patras - Pyrgos - Pylos) and the railway from Patras to Pyrgos.

Olenus (Ancient Greek: Ὤλενος, romanized: Olenos) or Olenum was a polis (city-state) in ancient Achaea, Greece. It was an original member of the Achaean League, one of the 12 Achaean cities, situated on the coast, and on the left bank of the river Peirus, 40 stadia from Dyme, and 80 stadia from Patrae. On the revival of the Achaean League in 280 BCE, it appears that Olenus was still in existence, as Strabo says that it did not join the league; but the inhabitants subsequently abandoned the town, and retired to the neighbouring villages of Peirae (Πειραί), and Euryteiae (Εὐρυτειαί), and to Dyme. In the time of Polybius, however, Olenus was no longer inhabited; and in the time of Pausanias (2nd century) it was in ruins, and its territory belonged to Dyme.

Agios Vasileios (Greek: Άγιος Βασίλειος) is a coastal village in the municipal unit of Rio, in the municipality of Patras. It is located on the Gulf of Corinth, 3 km northeast of Rio, Greece. The Greek National Road 8A (Patras - Corinth) passes south of the village.

Antheia or Anthea (Ancient Greek: Ἄνθεια) was a town in ancient Achaea, which was said to have been depopulated by the mythical Patreus to populate Patrae. During the war between the Achaeans and the Romans, Patrae suffered so severely, that the greater part of the inhabitants abandoned the city and took up abodes in the surrounding villages, including Antheia. Here, Demeter Poteriophoros was worshiped.

Vrachnaiika (Greek: Βραχνέικα or Βραχναίικα, Greek pronunciation: [vraxˈneika]) is a town and a former municipality in Achaea, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Patras, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 32.111 km². It is suburb of a Patras, about 11 km southwest of the city centre, on the Gulf of Patras coast. The community has a disused rail station on the line from Patras to Pyrgos. The Greek National Road 9 (Patras - Pyrgos) passes south of the centre.

Nikos Temponeras (1954 – January 8, 1991) was a high school mathematics teacher, and a member of the left-wing Labour Anti-imperialistic Front (EAM). Temponeras was murdered in Patras during the student protests of 1990–1991 by Giannis Kalampokas, a municipal councillor and president of the local New Democracy branch.

The Girokomeio Monastery (Greek: Μονή Γηροκομείου) or Monastery of Panagia Girokomitissa is an Congregational Monastery that belongs to the Holy Diocese of Patras and is located in the area of the southeast Girokomeio of Patras.

The siege of Patras was one of the first events of the Greek War of Independence. After the outbreak of the revolution, the Greeks under the leadership of the primates of Patras, captured the city and destroyed the Muslim quarter. The Greeks tried to capture also the main fortress of the city.

Tabachana (Greek: Ταμπάχανα) is a neighbourhood and a settlement in the city of Patras. The name is of Turkish origin named during the Ottoman period and it means tanning, Virsodepsia (Βυρσοδεψεία) in Greek. During the Ottoman period it had tanning spots in the city and when the Greeks came as well as from other countries. Today it is a quiet neighbourhood in Patras with the homonymous square (Filiki Etaireia).

Terpsithea (Greek: Τερψιθέα, literally meaning "pleasant views") is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece.

Tritaki (Greek: Τριτάκη) is a neighbourhood in the old town of Patras. It consists of a part of the district of Vlatero. The neighborhood is known for its old houses, small pedestrian roads and stairs that lead to the Patra's Castle

Tsivdi (Greek: Τσιβδί, literally meaning "κίβδηλος", "counterfeit") is a neighbourhood in the central part of the city of Patras 1 km southwest of the downtown core. The subdivision is bounded with Dimitriou Gounari Street to the north, the Karaiskaki Street to the east and Trion Navarchon Street to the south.

Zarouchleika or Zarouchlaiika (Greek: Ζαρουχλέικα or Ζαρουχλαίικα), official name Glafkos, is a large suburb with a population of approximately 50,000 residents, located about 3 km south from the city centre of Patras, Greece. The main streets of Zarouchleika are the coastal road Akti Dymaion and Antheias Street. The OSE's railway from Patras to Pyrgos passes west of Zarouchleika.

Zavlani (Greek: Ζαβλάνι) is a neighbourhood in the northeastern part of the city of Patras, 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) direct and 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) via road from the downtown core. The neighbourhood bears the football (soccer) club team named A.P.S. Zavlani and plays in the prefectural fourth division.

Drepano (Greek: Δρέπανο) is a village in the municipality of Patras, Achaea, Greece. It is situated on the river Volinaios, about 60 m above sea level. It is 2 km west of Psathopyrgos and 7 km northwest of Rio. The Greek National Road 8A (Athens - Corinth - Patras) passes north of the village.

Argyra (Ancient Greek: Ἀργυρᾶ) was a town or village in ancient Achaea, in the neighbourhood of Patrae. It was located near the river Selemnus, the spring Argyra and the town of Bolina. Pausanias says it was on the road from Patrae to Aegium, following the Caradrus river. Pausanias relates a local legend that Argyra was a sea-nymph, who fell in love with a shepherd boy named Selemnus and used to come up out of the sea to visit him, sleeping by his side, but when Selemnus lost its beauty, the nymph stopped visiting him and Selemnus died of a broken heart. Then, Aphrodite transformed Selemnus into a river, the Selemnos. In the war between the Achaeans and the Romans Patrae suffered so severely, that the greater part of the inhabitants abandoned the city and took up their abodes in the surrounding villages of Mesatis, Antheia, Bolina, Argyra, and Arba. A long time later, the Emperor Augustus forced the inhabitants of these places to abandon them to repopulate the city of Patrae. In the time of Pausanias (2nd century) the town was in ruins.

Psathopyrgos (Greek: Ψαθόπυργος) is a tourist village and community in the municipal unit of Rio in the northern part of Achaea, Greece. Psathopyrgos is located on the Gulf of Corinth, south east of Cape Drepano, the northernmost point of the Peloponnese peninsula. The village has a small pebble beach and it is known to the locals and tourists for its fish taverns and nice views of the green mountains south of the village.

Moira (Greek: Μοίρα) is a village located southeast of Patras, Greece. Moira had a population of 65 in 2011. Moira was part of the municipality of Patras between 1845 and 1912, and again after 1997. Between 1912 and 1997, it was an independent community.

Georgiou I Square (Greek: Πλατεία Γεωργίου Αʹ) is the central square of Patras, Greece. The square is named after King George I of Greece. It is crossed by Maizonos, Korinthou and Gerokostopoulou streets. The neoclassical Apollon Theatre is situated on the northeast side of the square.

Selemnos (Ancient Greek: Σέλεμνος, Latin: Selemnus) is a river in the northern part of Achaea, Greece. The river flows entirely in the municipal unit of Rio and empties into the Gulf of Corinth.

The Volinaios (Greek: Βολιναίος, also Δρεπανέικο Drepaneiko, Latin: Bolinaeus) is a river in the northern part of Achaea, Greece. It empties into the Gulf of Corinth. The river is named after the ancient town of Boline. The river begins in the northern part of the Panachaiko mountains, it flows through the village Drepano where it has water all year round. The river flows into the Gulf of Corinth near Psathopyrgos.

Patras Castle (Greek: Κάστρο Πατρών) was built around the mid-6th century AD above the ruins of the ancient acropolis of the city of Patras, on a low outlying hill of the Panachaiko Mountain and ca. 800 m from the sea. The castle covers 22,725 m² and consists of a triangular outer wall, strengthened by towers and gates and further protected originally by a moat, and an inner compound on the northeastern corner, also protected by a moat.

The Rio Castle (Greek: κάστρο του Ρίου), historically known as the Castle of the Morea (Italian: Castello de Morea) in opposition to its counterpart, the Castle of Rumelia at Antirrio, is located at the north tip of the Rio peninsula in Achaea, Greece, at the entrance of the Corinthian Gulf. The Rio-Antirio Bridge is located next to it, and the local ferry docks lie on either side. Today it is used for cultural purposes, especially concerts and is a tourist attraction.

Mintilogli or Midilogli (Greek: Μιντιλόγλι /midi'loɣli/) is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Paralia in the municipality of Patras in Achaea, Greece. It is 1 km south of Paralia, and 8 km southwest of Patras city centre. Ovria is to the east. The community consists of the villages Mintilogli (seat) and Chantziliako. Its population is around 2,000. Greek National Road 9 (Patras - Pyrgos) passes the village on the north and west.

Kokkinos Milos (Greek: Κόκκινος Μύλος, meaning: red mill) is a neighbourhood in the southern part of the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece.

The Mycenaean cemetery of Voudeni (Greek: Μυκηναϊκό νεκροταφείο Βούντενης) along with the Mycenaean settlement at the locality of Bortzi, comprise the Patras Mycenaean Park (Μυκηναϊκό Πάρκο Πατρών), located near the settlement of Voudeni (also known as Skioessa) of the Municipality of Patras in Western Greece. The archaeological site of a total area of 180 acres is located at an altitude of 220 meters, 7 kilometers northeast of Patras, has been transformed into a recreational park. It includes 78 carved tombs and the ruins of a prehistoric settlement, possibly identified with that of ancient Mesatis. First archaeological excavations began in 1923 by Nikolaos Kyparissis. Many of the findings such as vases, clay statuettes, bronze artifacts, tools, weapons and jewellery have been transported and exhibited at the nearby Archaeological Museum of Patras.

Lykochoro (Greek: Λυκόχορο) is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece.

Panormus or Panormos (Ancient Greek: Πάνορμος) was a harbour of ancient Achaea, 15 stadia east of the promontory of Rhium. During the Peloponnesian War, it was at Panormus, in 429 BCE, that the Spartan fleet and infantry united prior to the Battle of Naupactus.

The Roman and Medieval Aqueducts of Patras (Greek: Ρωμαϊκό και Μεσαιωνικό Υδραγωγείο Πάτρας) is an archaeological site in the city of Patras, West Greece.

The Barony of Patras was a medieval Frankish fiefdom of the Principality of Achaea, located in the northwestern coast of the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece, centred on the town of Patras. It was among the twelve original baronies of the Principality of Achaea, but passed into the hands of the Latin Archbishop of Patras at about the middle of the 13th century. From 1337 on, Patras was an ecclesiastical domain de facto independent of the Principality, although the archbishops still recognized its suzerainty for their secular fiefs. The archbishops maintained close relations with the Republic of Venice, which governed the barony in 1408–1413 and 1418. The barony survived until the Byzantine reconquest in 1429–30.

The siege of Patras in 805 or 807 was undertaken by the local Slavic tribes of the Peloponnese, reportedly with aid from an Arab fleet. The siege's failure, attributed to the miraculous intervention of the city's patron, Saint Andrew, marked the consolidation of Byzantine control over the Peloponnese peninsula after two centuries of Slavic occupation over its western half. It also marked the beginning of the ascendancy of the Metropolis of Patras in the peninsula's ecclesiastical affairs.

Kato Kastritsi (Greek: Κάτω Καστρίτσι) is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Rio, Achaea, Greece. The community consists of the villages Kato Kastritsi and Magoula. It is situated at about 100 m elevation in the northwestern foothills of the Panachaiko, 2 km southeast of Rio town centre, and adjacent to the campus of the University of Patras. Ano Kastritsi is 4 km to the southeast.

Argyra (Greek: Αργυρά, before 1928: Άβερνα - Averna) is a village in the municipal unit of Rio, Achaea, Greece. It is situated in the northern foothills of the Panachaiko, at about 450 m elevation. It is 2 km west of Sella and 7 km east of Rio. A wind energy facility has been built about 4 km to the south.

Neo Souli (Greek: Νέο Σούλι) is a village in the municipality of Patras, Achaea, Greece. It is the main village of the community Souli, which consists of the villages Neo Souli, Agios Ioannis, Kefalovryso, Mintzaiika, Panagia and Profitis Ilias. Souli was part of the municipality of Patras between 1841 and 1912, and again after 1997. Between 1912 and 1997, it was an independent community.

It takes its name from the Agia Sofia (Saint Sophia) church, which is the main church of the neighbourhood. The church is one of the largest in Patras and it is dedicated to the 6th-century Christian martyr Saint Sophia.

Agios Alexios (Greek: Άγιος Αλέξιος, meaning "Saint Alexius") is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece. The name comes from the namesake church of St. Alexius which is located beside Ellinos Stratiotou Street almost 2 km from the city's centre. In a short distance from the church there is a large building which serves as a branch of IKA which is the largest Social Security Organisation in Greece.

Agios Andreas Hospital (Greek: Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Πατρών "Ο Άγιος Ανδρέας") is a hospital in Patras, Achaea, Greece. It is the second largest hospital in the city of Patras and one of the largest in Peloponnese with a total capacity of 400 beds (188 beds in the Internal Medicine sector and 192 beds in the surgical sector). It first operated as the Municipal Hospital of Patras on January 1, 1872 and was renamed to its current name when it was transferred to the current building.

Agios Andreas (Greek: Άγιος Ανδρέας, meaning "Saint Andrew") is a neighbourhood in the south-central part of the city of Patras, 2 km from the downtown core. Agios Andreas is linked with the Akti Dymaion and the GR-9/E55 (Patras - Pyrgos - Kyparissia) and Korinthou Street. The OSE's SPAP line is 300 m from the old shoreline and 500 m from the new shoreline by the expanded Port of Patras.

Agios Dionysios (Greek: Άγιος Διονύσιος, meaning "Saint Dionysius") is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Greece. Its boundaries are the street north of Agiou Dionyssiou, Riga Faireou Street to the east and 28 Octovriou Street to the south.

Agyia (Greek: Αγυιά) is a neighborhood of the city of Patras, Greece. It is located about 3.5 km north of downtown Patras. The community forms the mid-northern part of the city of Patras (except 1 km north of Old GR-9 by-pass). Most of the street names are named after rivers. The town includes the church of St. Constantine (Aghios Konstantinos).

The area was built from the area of the new archeological museum which is built from the sea and saw new subdivisions. Characteristically it is the great School Group of Anthoupoli which features several schools, except for the range of the area is Sychaina up to the elevation and Ampelokipoi near Paneipstimiou Street.

Apollon Patras Indoor Hall, also known as Perivola Indoor Hall, is an indoor sports arena that is located in Patras, Greece. The arena is known for its unique roof construction, which is made entirely out of wood. The arena belongs to the local multi-sporting club, A.S. Apollon, and it is the home of the club's professional basketball (Apollon Patras) and volleyball teams. The arena has a seating capacity of 3,500 people.

Arachovitika (Greek: Αραχωβίτικα) is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Rio in the northern part of Achaea, Greece. It is situated on the Gulf of Corinth, 1 km northwest of Drepano and 6 km northeast of Rio. The Greek National Road 8A (Patras - Corinth) passes south of the village, and the railway Patras - Corinth runs through the village. The community consists of the villages Arachovitika and Kato Arachovitika. There is a port next to Cape Drepano.

Arba (Ancient Greek: Άρβα) was a settlement somewhere in northern Achaea, Ancient Greece. Pausanias mentioned it was a refuge for Patrinos during the Achaean War.

Aroi (Greek: Αρόη, also Aroe) is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece. It is built in a hilly area about 2 miles (3.2 km) inland, near the ancient acropolis, which is known as the Castle of Aroi.

The arena is named after the great Greek wrestling champion of the early 20th century, and gold medalist at the 1906 Intercalated Games, Dimitrios Tofalos. It is also known by its original official name, which is PEAK, which stands for Pampeloponnisiako Ethniko Athlitiko Kentro Patron (Greek: ΠΕΑΚ Παμπελοποννησιακό Εθνικό Αθλητικό Κέντρο), which means Pampeloponnisiako National Sports Center Patras.

Drosia (Greek: Δροσιά, meaning "dew" or "coolness") is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Greece, 3 km east-southeast of downtown.

Eglykada (Greek: Εγλυκάδα, meaning "sweetness") is a neighbourhood in the eastern part of the city of Patras, 7 km by road from the city center. Eglykada is accessed with the Patras-Ekilistra Road which is 2 km long in the neighbourhood. Since 2002, it is linked with the Patras Bypass in which it was first constructed in the late-1990s and the interchange later on. Its interchange is circular with only one access from the entrance lane but it does not have any tolls and the intersection is by the entrance and the merging lanes. It is 200 m south of the road and 500 m from its nearest tunnel.

Elekistra (Greek: Ελεκίστρα also Ελικίστρα) is a village and a community in the municipality of Patras, Achaea, Greece. It is situated in the foothills of the Panachaiko mountain, southeast of the built-up area of Patras, about 7 km from the city centre. The community consists of the Elekistra, Karya, Pournarokastro, Ryaki and Romanos.

Evraiomnimata (Greek: Εβραιομνήματα, meaning "graves of Jews") is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece.

Glaraki (Greek: Γλαράκη) is a district in the city of Patras, Greece. The area is located at the end of Germanos Street. Today, it features a complex of elementary schools. The origin of the name comes from the minister (1832) of the Achaea prefecture, Georgios Glarakis.Τhε Glaraki District is one of the oldest in Patras in the Upper Town, bordering the Aroi, Critika, Sinora, St. Demetrius and Marouda.

Gouva (Greek: Γούβα, meaning "puddle") is a neighbourhood in the northeastern part of the city of Patras, 4 km direct and 5 km via road from the downtown core. Gouva is linked with a mountain road and with Amerikis Street. The GR-8A and the E55 (Athens - Corinth - Patras) as well as the GR-5/E55 (Antirrio - Agrinio - Ioannina) and the GR-48/E65 (Patras - Antirrio - Nafpaktos - Livadia) as well as Panepistimiou Street.

Ities (Greek: Ιτιές, meaning: willows) is a suburb in the southern part of the city of Patras. The origin of the name comes from the willow tree which used to be plentiful in the area. Until 1900, the area, which was the small swamp, was drained.

Kastellokampos (Greek: Καστελλόκαμπος, meaning "plain with a castle") is a neighbourhood of the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece. It has been part of the municipality of Patras since 1879. It is situated on the Gulf of Patras coast, 6 km north of the city centre of Patras and 1.5 km southwest of Rio. The population is between 2,000 and 3,000. The river Charadros flows into the sea in Kastellokampos. The A5 motorway passes east of the neighbourhood. Kastellokampos has a station on the Piraeus–Patras railway, served by Proastiakos suburban rail.

Kritika (Greek: Κρητικά, meaning "area of Cretans") is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece.

Krya Iteon (Greek: Κρύα Ιτεών, meaning: "The cold (area or waters) of Ities") is a neighbourhood in the southern part of the city of Patras next to the Glafkos river.

Lefka (Greek: Λεύκα, meaning: poplar) is a neighbourhood in the southern part of the Greek city of Patras, 5 km (3.1 mi) directly and 6 km (3.7 mi) south via road from downtown. It was originally called "Botovayia" ("Μποτοβάγια" in Greek).

Markato (Greek: Μαρκάτο, meaning "market") is a neighbourhood in the central part of the city of Patras, Greece. The origin of the name comes from the Italian word mercato which means market in which the Venetians arrived in 1699 and built a public market. Later, the Ottoman Turks reconquered the area and remained until the Greek War of Independence. The Turks destroyed the market, but the name is still in use today; the area today is known as the centre of the city's market.

Omplos (Greek: Ομπλός) is a mountain in Achaea, Greece. It rises steeply from the coastal plains around Patras to 926 m elevation. It is separated from the higher mountain Panachaikos by the valley of the river Glafkos. The summit is 2 km west of the village Petroto, 4 km east of Kallithea, 4 km southeast of Saravali and 10 km southeast of Patras city centre.

The Panagia Alexiotissa (Greek: Παναγία Αλεξιώτισσα) is a church in the Greek city of Patras with a cemetery in its forecourt, which is located between 12ou Syntagmatos and Marangopoulou streets. The local neighbourhood is named after the church as Agia Alexiotissa (Αγία Αλεξιώτισσα).

Riganokampos (Greek: Ριγανόκαμπος, meaning "plain where oregano grows") is a neighbourhood in the eastern part of the city of Patras by the foot of the Panachaiko mountains.

The railway from Piraeus to Patras was a 230-kilometre-long (140 mi) metre-gauge railway line in Greece that connected the port of Athens, Piraeus with Patras in the Peloponnese peninsula, via Athens "Peloponnese" central station and Corinth. It was opened between 1884 and 1887. Formerly one of the main lines of the Greek railway network, it has now largely fallen into disuse. It has mostly been replaced by the Athens Airport–Patras railway, a new standard-gauge line whose first section opened in 2004 and which remains under construction between Aigio and Patras. The 13 km (8.1 mi) section between Piraeus and Agioi Anargyroi, a northern suburb of Athens, has since been removed and replaced by the corresponding section of the upgraded Piraeus–Platy railway. As of 2020, the only sections in operation are the 22.5 km (14.0 mi) section between Agioi Anargyroi and Eleusis, and the 7.3 km (4.5 mi) section between Rio and Patras.

Ampelokipoi (Greek: Αμπελόκηποι, meaning "vineyards") is a neighbourhood in the city of Patras, Achaea, Greece.

Agios Andreas railway station (Greek: Σιδηροδρομικός σταθμός Άγιος Ανδρέας, romanized: Sidirodromikos Stathmos Agios Andreas) is a railway station in Kato Achaia in the northwestern Peloponnese, Greece. The station is on the former Patras–Kyparissia line However Since the suspension of regional services on the metre-gauge railways of the Peloponnese in 2011, the station is used only by local Proastiakos trains, served by Proastiakos Patras P1 & P2 Services.

Rio railway station (Greek: Σιδηροδρομική Στάση Ρίο, romanized: Sidirodromiki stasi Pio) is a railway station in Rio, a town in the suburbs of Patras in the northwestern Peloponnese, Greece. The station is located just outside the centre of the city, on Piraeus–Patras line and Patras–Kyparissia line and is served by both Proastiakos Patras Services. Pending the completion of the Athens Airport–Patras railway, it is also the starting point of Hellenic Train bus lines to Aigio, Diakopto and Kiato, where connecting train services to Athens Airport and Piraeus (via Athens central railway station) are available. Diakopto is also the terminus of the unique rack railway to Kalavryta.

Panachaiki railway station (Greek: Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Παναχαϊκή, romanized: Sidirodromikos Stathmos Panachaiki) is a railway station in Patras in the northwestern Peloponnese, Greece. The station is located in the city, close to Pampeloponnisiako Stadium, on Piraeus–Patras line and is severed by Proastiakos Patras Services. Pending the completion of the Athens Airport–Patras railway, it will be connected to Aigio, Diakopto and Kiato, where connecting train services to Athens Airport and Piraeus (via Athens central railway station) are available.

The Church of the Pantocrator of Patras (Greek: Ιερός Ναός Παντοκράτορος, romanized: Ieros Naos Pantokratoros) is a Greek Orthodox basilica in the east side of the city of Patras, in southwestern Greece. The current church was built in the mid nineteenth century, shortly after Greece's independence from the Ottoman Empire, and it is dedicated to Christ Pantocrator, or Christ the Ruler of All. The church is noted for its lead-covered domes and is considered to be a landmark of the upper town of Patras.

Patras Bus Station also known as KTEL Achaias bus station, is the third largest Bus Station in Greece after Athens Kifissos Bus Station and Thessaloniki Macedonia Bus Station. The bus station opened in 1976 in the city center of Patras in the opposite side of the port. The bus station is close to Patras Railway Station. It is connected with Patras Bus Organisation which serves bus routes in the whole city. KTEL Achaias has a hub in the bus station. Due to its small terminal, other routes such as to Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Corfu, Trikala, Lefkada are served from other stations on Othonos Amalias Avenue. A new bus station is under construction in Agios Dionisios in Patras, 200 m (660 ft) away from the present station. It will open in early 2023.

Proastio (Greek: Προάστιο or Προάστειο, meaning "suburb"; before 1928 it was named Bozaitika, Μποζαΐτικα in Greek) is a neighbourhood in the northern part of the city of Patras, 6 km from the city centre. The Greek National Road 8 (Corinth - Patras) and the OSE Corinth - Patras railway line pass through the neighbourhood. The river Charadros flows 1 km north. The municipal boundary with Rio is also to the north.

Prosfygika (Greek: Προσφυγικά, meaning "refugee settlement") is a neighbourhood in the southern Greek city of Patras. It was founded in 1922 as displaced persons from Asia Minor arrived in the city after the 1919–1922 Greco-Turkish War and the subsequent population exchange between Greece and Turkey.

From 1925, it is used for the teams Thyella, AS Apollo and Olympiacos and Aris.

Psilalonia (Greek: Ψηλαλώνια, literally "ψηλά αλώνια", meaning "high threshing floors") is a square and neighbourhood in the central part of the city of Patras, approximately 1 km away from the downtown city center. Psilalonia is confined by Gounaris Street and two other squares, 'Omonoia' and 'Wood Square'.

Roitika or Rogitika (Greek: Ροΐτικα or Ρογίτικα) is a village in the municipal unit of Paralia, Achaea, Greece. It is situated on the Gulf of Patras, 2 km southwest of the village Paralia, and 8 km southwest from Patras city centre. The population is around 1,200. The Greek National Road 9 (Patras - Pyrgos) runs east of the village.

Sella (Greek: Σελλά) is a village in the municipal unit of Rio, Achaea, Greece. It is located in the northern foothills of the Panachaiko, at 500 m above sea level. The river Volinaios flows east and north of the village. It is 2 km east of Argyra and 9 km east of Rio.

Skagiopouleio (Greek: Σκαγιοπούλειο) is a neighbourhood in the southern part of the city of Patras.

Skioessa (Greek: Σκιόεσσα, meaning "umbrageous", before 1955: Βούντενη - Voudeni) is a neighbourhood and a settlement in the northeastern part of the city of Patras. Skioessa had a population of 529 in 2021. The previous name of this suburb, Voudeni, is still in use.

Vrachneika railway station (Greek: Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Βραχναίικων, romanized: Sidirodromikos Stathmos Vrachneika) is a railway station in Vrachneika, in Patras, Peloponnese, Greece. The station is on the former Patras–Kyparissia line and is served by Proastiakos Patras Services.

The Technological Educational Institute of Western Greece (Greek: Τεχνολογικό Εκπαιδευτικό Ίδρυμα Δυτικής Ελλάδας) was a Greek tertiary educational institution, based in Patras with more than 20,000 students.

Begoulaki (Greek: Μπεγουλάκι) is the popular name of a neighbourhood in the city of Patras. The name is originally derived from Bey Ulak, a Turkish landlord who lived in the area during the Ottoman period. Today, the official name is Myloi (Μύλοι) even though other people kept the toponym Begoulaki. The current neighborhood was named "Myloi" before the Ottoman era, but the Byzantine chronographer G. Frantzis referred to it as "Mylous". The area was made into a military base by Constantine XI Paleologus during his siege of Patras as the despot of Mystras. It was also the place where Constantine married his first wife.

Οι Εργατικές Κατοικίες Παραλίας Πατρών, ευρέως γνωστές και ως Εργατικές Εύας (εναλλακτικά: Εργατικά Εύας), αποτελούν συνοικία της κωμόπολης της Παραλίας, η οποία με τη σειρά της ως οικισμός συνορεύει με αυτόν της Πάτρας και αποτελεί παράλληλα προάστιό της ευρισκόμενο στα νότια-νοτιοδυτικά της.

Η Σαμακιά είναι περιοχή της Πάτρας. Αναφέρεται η ονομασία της συνοικίας και ως Σαμακά.

Οι Άγιοι Απόστολοι είναι μικρή συνοικία της Πάτρας, ευρισκόμενη νότια του κέντρου της πόλης, πλησίον του Νότιου Λιμένα Πατρών (νέο λιμάνι). Γειτνιάζει με τις συνοικίες Άνθεια, Λαδόπουλου, Τέρψη και Ψάχου, ενώ απέχει οδικώς περίπου 4 χιλιόμετρα από το κέντρο της Πάτρας.

Ο Προφήτης Ηλίας είναι μικρή συνοικία και θέση της Πάτρας, που βρίσκεται στο ανατολικό τμήμα της πόλης, και οφείλει την ονομασία της στην εκεί ιστορική ομώνυμη μονή. Γειτνιάζει με τις συνοικίες Γηροκομειό, Διάκου, Εγλυκάδα, Σύνορα, ενώ απέχει οδικώς περί τα 3 χιλιόμετρα από το κέντρο της Πάτρας.

Ο Ανεμόμυλος είναι παραθαλάσσια οικιστική τοποθεσία και συνοικία των Τσουκαλαίικων στην Αχαΐα. Ήταν άλλοτε αναγνωρισμένος αυτόνομος οικισμός, από τις 19/03/1967 έως ότου καταργήθηκε ως τέτοιος στις 09/05/2011 και σύμφωνα με μαρτυρίες υπάρχει ως θέση με αυτήν την ονομασία τουλάχιστον από το 1890.

Η Αγία Βαρβάρα είναι συνοικία της Πάτρας που εκτείνεται νότια του κέντρου της πόλης, σε κοντινή απόσταση από αυτό και η οποία οφείλει την ονομασία της στον εκεί ομώνυμο ναό.

Οι Πόρτες είναι συνοικία της Πάτρας, ευρισκόμενη στο νότιο τμήμα της πόλης και η οποία απέχει οδικώς περί τα 5 χιλιόμετρα από το κέντρο της.

Οι Δάφνες είναι συνοικία της Πάτρας στο βόρειο τμήμα της πόλης, που απέχει περίπου 7 χιλιόμετρα από το κέντρο της.

Τα Συχαινά αποτελούν συνοικία της Πάτρας η οποία βρίσκεται στο βόρειο τμήμα της πόλης. Μέχρι το 1961 η περιοχή είχε τη μορφή δύο διακριτών και επίσημα αναγνωρισμένων οικισμών, τα Άνω και τα Κάτω Συχαινά, που πλέον αποτελούν απλά δύο ευρύτερες γειτονιές της περιοχής ως μέρος του οικιστικού ιστού της πόλης της Πάτρας.

Ως Κούτσα καλείται περιοχή της Πάτρας στα ανατολικά της, η οποία αποτελεί και μέρος της ευρύτερης περιοχής της Εγλυκάδας και η απόσταση της με το κέντρο της πόλης ανέρχεται γύρω στα 5 χιλιόμετρα.

Ο Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Ανθείας είναι σιδηροδρομικός σταθμός στην Πάτρα. Ξεκίνησε τη λειτουργία του στις 29 Φεβρουαρίου 2020 και εξυπηρετείται από τα τοπικά τρένα ανάμεσα στην Πάτρα και την Κάτω Αχαΐα του Προαστιακού Σιδηροδρόμου Πάτρας. Οι συνοικίες που εξυπηρετεί είναι τα Ζαρουχλέικα, η Κυψέλη και του Παπαθωμά.

Ο Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Παραλίας είναι σιδηροδρομικός σταθμός στην Παραλία, κωμόπολη και προάστιο της Πάτρας. Ξεκίνησε τη λειτουργία του στις 29 Φεβρουαρίου 2020 και εξυπηρετείται από τα τοπικά τρένα ανάμεσα στην Πάτρα και την Κάτω Αχαΐα του Προαστιακού Σιδηροδρόμου Πάτρας. Εξυπηρετεί μεγάλο τμήμα του οικιστικού ιστού της Παραλίας Πάτρας, όπως λ.χ. τις Εργατικές Κατοικίες "Εύας", τις συνοικίες Μαραγκόπουλου, Χαραλαμπόπουλου κ.λπ., τμήμα της συνοικίας Κόκκινος Μύλος, τη συνοικία Φιλοθέη, την Κάτω Οβρυά, το Χαντζηλιάκο κ.ά.

Ο Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Μιντιλογλίου είναι σιδηροδρομικός σταθμός στο Μιντιλόγλι, κωμόπολη και προάστιο της Πάτρας, στην παραλιακή θέση Τσαούση. Ως σταθμός άνοιξε στις 15/12/1888 και έκλεισε το 2011. Επαναλειτούργησε στις 29 Φεβρουαρίου 2020 εξυπηρετούμενος από τα τοπικά τρένα ανάμεσα στην Πάτρα και την Κάτω Αχαΐα του Προαστιακού Σιδηροδρόμου Πάτρας. Εξυπηρετεί μεγάλο τμήμα του οικιστικού ιστού της Παραλίας Πατρών, όπως λ.χ. τις συνοικίες Εγγλέζικα και Μουρτάς, το Μιντιλόγλι και τα Ροΐτικα.

Ο Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Τσουκαλαίικων είναι σιδηροδρομικός σταθμός στα Τσουκαλαίικα, χωριό και προάστιο της Πάτρας. Ως σταθμός άνοιξε στις 15/12/1888 και έκλεισε το 2011. Επαναλειτούργησε στις 29 Φεβρουαρίου 2020 εξυπηρετούμενος από τα τοπικά τρένα ανάμεσα στην Πάτρα και την Κάτω Αχαΐα του Προαστιακού Σιδηροδρόμου Πάτρας. Εξυπηρετεί τα Τσουκαλαίικα και τη συνοικία Ανεμόμυλος, τα κοντινά Θεριανό και Μοιραίικα.

Η Τριών Ναυάρχων είναι πεζόδρομος και πλατεία στο κέντρο της Πάτρας. Εκτείνεται από την Λεωφόρο Όθωνος-Αμαλίας, παραλιακά της Πάτρας, έως την οδό Αθανασίου Διάκου και τις εκεί Σκάλες που οδηγούν στην περιοχή της πλατείας των Υψηλών Αλωνίων.

Το Α΄ Γυμνάσιο Πατρών είναι δευτεροβάθμιο εκπαιδευτικό ίδρυμα στην Πάτρα. Είναι το τέταρτο δημόσιο ελληνικό γυμνάσιο που ιδρύθηκε στο σύγχρονο ελληνικό κράτος, στις τάξεις του οποίου έχουν φοιτήσει και διδάξει σημαίνουσες προσωπικότητες, ανάμεσα τους υπουργοί, πρωθυπουργοί, συγγραφείς και άλλοι. Ήδη στην Πάτρα με το βασιλικό διάταγμα της 25ης Μαρτίου του 1835 λειτουργούσε ελληνικό σχολείο, το τέταρτο μετά του Ναυπλίου, Αθήνας, και Σύρου. Στην πόλη λειτουργούσε και αλληλοδιδακτικό σχολείο, δημοτικό σήμερα, που το θεμελίωσε ο Ιωάννης Καποδίστριας.

Το Β' Γυμνάσιο Πατρών είναι δευτεροβάθμιο εκπαιδευτικό ίδρυμα της Ελλάδας στην πόλη της Πάτρας . Ιδρύθηκε το 1881 και ήταν το δεύτερο γυμνάσιο της πόλης μετά από το Α' γυμνάσιο που είχε ιδρυθεί το 1838. Την εποχή που ιδρύθηκε στην πόλη υπήρχαν ακόμα ένα γυμνάσιο δύο Ελληνικά σχολεία, τρεις δημοτικές σχολές αρρένων, και η Δημοτική σχολή Θηλέων . Η ίδρυση του Β' γυμνασίου ήταν αίτημα της τοπικής κοινωνίας για χρόνια, η Πάτρα ήταν δεύτερη πόλη της Ελλάδας και με συνεχόμενη αύξηση του πληθυσμού της το υπάρχον Α' γυμνάσιο ήταν πλήρης από μαθητές και για τις ανάγκες του είχε ιδρύσει το 1880 παράρτημα, οι μαθητές του οποίου αποτέλεσαν τους πρώτους μαθητές του Β' γυμνασίου. Στις τάξεις του έχουν φοιτήσει και διδάξει μεγάλες προσωπικότητες ανάμεσα τους υπουργοί, τέσσερις πρωθυπουργοί, συγγραφείς , ολυμπιονίκες και άλλοι.

Η Πλατεία Αγίου Γεωργίου βρίσκεται στην Πάτρα, στην Άνω Πόλη, δίπλα στο Αρχαίο Ωδείο και πήρε το όνομά της από την ομώνυμη εκκλησία που υπήρχε εκεί προεπαναστατικά. Σήμερα είναι μία όμορφη καταπράσινη πλατεία, τριγωνικού σχήματος με νεοκλασσικά κτίσματα και αρχαιολογικούς χώρους να την πλαισιώνουν, ενώ πλησίον βρίσκονται οι Σκάλες Γεροκωστοπούλου και Πατρέως.

Η Πλατεία Μαρκάτου βρίσκεται στην ομώνυμη συνοικία της κεντρικής Πάτρας, η οποία παραδοσιακά και διαχρονικά θεωρείται ως η τοπική αγορά της πόλης με πλήθος καταστημάτων διαφόρων ειδών. Η πλατεία φέρει από την δεκαετία του '70 την ονομασία του πρώτου Κυβερνήτη του ελεύθερου Ελληνικού κράτους, Ιωάννη Καποδίστρια, ενώ σε αυτή υπάρχει τοποθετημένη και προτομή του.

Το Ρωμαϊκό Ωδείο της Πάτρας είναι μεγαλοπρεπές κτίσμα ρωμαϊκών χρόνων που σήμερα έχει ανακατασκευαστεί και χρησιμοποιείται για μουσικές εκδηλώσεις. Βρίσκεται στα δυτικά του Κάστρου, στην Άνω πόλη δίπλα στο Ρωμαϊκό στάδιο και ανάμεσα στις οδούς Παλιών Πατρών Γερμανού, Σωτηριάδου, Παντοκράτορος και την πλατεία Αγίου Γεωργίου. Έχει πρόσοψη προς τα νότια και είναι επενδυμένο με τούβλα, σήμερα οι κλίμακες του είναι επενδυμένες με μάρμαρο.

Το Δικαστικό Μέγαρο της Πάτρας βρίσκεται επί της οδού Δημ. Γούναρη, στο κέντρο της πόλης.

Ο Αναλημματικός τοίχος των Υψηλών Αλωνίων στην Πάτρα είναι τοίχος κατασκευασμένος στα ρωμαϊκά χρόνια που διασώζεται και σήμερα. Ο τοίχος αυτός έχει δεχτεί στο πέρασμα των αιώνων προσθήκες, όπως στις αρχές του 19ου αιώνα με την ισοπέδωση του υψώματος των Ψηλαλωνίων όπου δέχτηκε πετρόκτιστη προσθήκη κατά ύψος, στην ρίζα του οποίου βρίσκεται, και δημιουργία πλατείας αλλά και την κατασκευή των καταφυγίων.

Το Ρωμαϊκό στάδιο της Πάτρας, πολλές φορές αποκαλείται και Αμφιθέατρο-στάδιο ή Θέατρο, είναι ερείπια του ρωμαϊκού σταδίου της ρωμαϊκής Πάτρας που διασώζονται σήμερα στο κέντρο της πόλης. Βρίσκεται στο σημερινό κέντρο Πάτρας δίπλα στο ρωμαϊκό ωδείο που επίσης διασώζεται, και καταλαμβάνει μεγάλη έκταση κάτω από πολυκατοικίες κι άλλα κτίσματα, ενώ μέρος του, η ανατολική πλευρά, έχει αποκαλυφτεί. Το στάδιο διασωζόταν μέχρι το 1870 όπου τότε επάνω του κατασκευάστηκαν οικίες για να αποκαλυφθεί πάλι την δεκαετία του 90.

Η Ρωμαϊκή γέφυρα Πάτρας είναι μνημείο ρωμαϊκών χρόνων στην Πάτρα. Αποτελείται από συγκρότημα δύο γεφυρών, μία μονότοξη και μία νεότερη δίτοξη που θεωρείται η καλύτερα σωζόμενη δίτοξη γέφυρα στην Ελλάδα. Ο χώρος που βρίσκεται η γέφυρα είναι οργανωμένος αρχαιολογικός χώρος, επισκέψιμος κατόπιν συνεννόησης με την ΕΦΑ Αχαΐας και βρίσκεται στην είσοδο της πόλης από Αθήνα στην διασταύρωση των οδών Αρέθα και Νέα Ε.Ο. Πατρών-Αθηνών νυν Παπαδιαμάντη, λίγα μέτρα πριν το αρχαιολογικό μουσείο της πόλης.

Το Ρωμαϊκό νυμφαίο της οδού Κανάρη είναι ερείπια συγκροτήματος νυμφαίου ρωμαϊκών χρόνων που έχει βρεθεί στην Πάτρα. Τα κατάλοιπα του μνημείου είναι ορατά στο κέντρο της πόλης στην διασταύρωση των οδών Βλάχου και Κανάρη. Το νυμφαίο ήταν λατρευτικός χώρος αφιερωμένος στις νύμφες και χώρος αναψυχής με πίδακες νερού και κήπους. Το μνημείο βρέθηκε κατά την διάρκεια οικοδομικών εργασιών για την κατασκευή οικοδομής.

Το Εθνικό Αθλητικό & Ναυτικό Κέντρο (Ε.Α.Ν.Κ.) Πάτρας είναι κολυμβητήριο στην πόλη της Πάτρας. Για πολλά χρόνια αποτέλεσε το μοναδικό κολυμβητήριο της πόλης αλλά σήμερα βρίσκεται σε κακή κατάσταση εγκαταλελειμμένο. Ήταν μάλιστα το πρώτο κολυμβητήριο που κατασκευάστηκε στην πόλη και το πρώτο κλειστό, ως τότε οι αγώνες γινόντουσαν στο λιμάνι. Βρίσκεται στην συμβολή των οδών Κανελλοπούλου & Ηρώων Πολυτεχνείου.

To Κλειστό Γήπεδο Γλαύκου είναι αθλητική εγκατάσταση στην Πάτρα, ιδιοκτησία και έδρα του σωματείου Α.Ο. Γλαύκος.

Ο Δήμος Πατρέων είναι δήμος της Ελλάδας, στην Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Αχαΐας (τ. Νομός) της Περιφέρειας Δυτικής Ελλάδας. Έδρα του δήμου είναι η πόλη της Πάτρας από την ημέρα της σύστασής του, το 1835, έως σήμερα.

Το Μουσείο Επιστημών και Τεχνολογίας (ΜΕΤ) Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών ιδρύθηκε το 2001 και λειτουργεί ως Εργαστήριο της Σχολής Θετικών Επιστημών του Πανεπιστημίου. Στεγάζεται σε νέο κτήριο το οποίο βρίσκεται στο χώρο του Πανεπιστημίου, κάτω απο το εστιατόριο Πάρκο της Ειρήνης και δίπλα στο εκκρεμές του Φουκώ.

Η Σάπια Βρύση είναι ορεινή τοποθεσία στο Δήμο Ερυμάνθου της Αχαΐας, ενώ παλιότερα υπήρξε βραχύβιος οικισμός, του οποίου σώζονται σήμερα μόνο ερείπια.

Η Αράχωβα είναι παλιό χωριό της επαρχίας Πατρών του νομού Αχαΐας. Το χωριό σήμερα δεν υπάρχει, η θέση του ήταν νοτιοανατολικά της Πάτρας πλησίον του σημερινού Ρωμανός.

Του Κυνηγού είναι παλιό χωριό της πρώην επαρχίας Πατρών του νομού Αχαΐας. Το χωριό βρισκόταν στα ανατολικά της Πάτρας κοντά στη Μονή Γηροκομείου. Σήμερα είναι άγνωστη η ακριβής θέση του καθώς δεν διασώζονται ερείπια ή τοπωνύμιο, πιθανολογείται ότι βρισκόταν στη σημερινή συνοικία Λυκοχορός, που συνορεύει με τη Μονή, όπως και του Κυνηγού.

Το Μάζι υπήρξε παλιός ορεινός οικισμός του σημερινού Νομού Αχαΐας στις νότιες πλαγιές του Παναχαϊκού. Σήμερα η περιοχή απαντάται ως τοπωνύμιο στην Τοπική Κοινότητα Μοίρας και βρίσκεται πολύ κοντά στα διοικητικά όρια με αυτά της Δημοτικής Ενότητας Λεοντίου.

Η Ζάστοβα είναι μικρός ορεινός εγκαταλελειμμένος οικισμός του Δήμου Πατρέων. Ανήκει ως οικιστική θέση και τοποθεσία στη γεωγραφική περιφέρεια της νυν Τοπικής Κοινότητας Ελικίστρας, Ρωμανό και κατοικείται εποχιακά μόνο κατά την περίοδο του καλοκαιριού.

Le phare Drepano ou Phare Akra Dhrepanon est situé au nord-est du Pont Rion-Antirion, dans le golfe de Corinthe en Grèce. Il est achevé en 1880.

Η Μικρή Περιμετρική Οδός Πάτρας (εναλλακτικά: Μίνι Περιμετρική) είναι δημόσιο τεχνικό έργο εντός της πόλης των Πατρών. Ολοκληρώθηκε και δόθηκε προς χρήση στις 22 Σεπτεμβρίου 2018.

Η Περιμετρική Οδός Πατρών είναι αυτοκινητόδρομος ταχείας κυκλοφορίας που διασχίζει περιμετρικά την Πάτρα και παράλληλα συνδέει την Ολυμπία Οδό με την Ε.Ο. Πατρών - Πύργου και μελλοντικά με το νότιο τμήμα της Ιόνιας Οδού. Κατασκευάστηκε την δεκαετία του 2000 και ολοκληρώθηκε το 2003 και αποτελεί, σύμφωνα με το πιο πρόσφατο ΦΕΚ για την αρίθμηση των αυτοκινητοδρόμων, τμήμα της Ιόνιας Οδού, που με την σειρά της θεωρείται τμήμα της Ευρωπαϊκής Οδού 55 του Διεθνούς Δικτύου Εθνικών Οδών. Συντηρείται από την Ολυμπία Οδό Α.Ε.

Ο Σταυρός, πολύ περισσότερο γνωστός με το παλιό όνομα Δρεσθενά ή και Δρεστενά, είναι οικισμός της πρώην Επαρχίας Πατρών του Νομού Αχαίας. Είχε 42 κατοίκους σύμφωνα με την Απογραφή του 2001 ενώ σύμφωνα με την τελευταία του 2011 δε βρέθηκε να έχει μόνιμους κατοίκους. Διοικητικά ανήκει στη Δημοτική Κοινότητα της κωμόπολης των Βραχναίικων της ομώνυμης Δημοτικής Ενότητας του Δήμου Πατρέων.

Το Θεριανό (απαντάται συχνά ως: του Θεριανού) είναι χωριό της πρώην Επαρχίας Πατρών του Νομού Αχαΐας, καθώς και πρώην δημοτικό διαμέρισμα του Δήμου Βραχναίικων με πληθυσμό 133 κατοίκους σύμφωνα με την Εθνική Απογραφή του 2011. Το 2001 είχε 189 κάτοικους. Βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 140 μέτρων περίπου και απέχει περί τα 17 χιλιόμετρα από την πόλη της Πάτρας.

Ο Μπάλας (γνωστό και σαν Μπάλα ή παλιότερα και Βάλα) είναι ένα μικρό χωριό της πρώην Επαρχίας Πατρών του Νομού Αχαΐας.

Η Πηγή, περισσότερο γνωστή με την παλιά της ονομασία Ζουμπάτα, είναι ορεινό χωριό της Αχαΐας. Είναι χτισμένο στο Παναχαϊκό και υπάγεται διοικητικά στον Δήμο Πατρέων.

Το Χαντζηλιάκο (ή Χατζηλιάκο) είναι οικισμός της Αχαΐας. Αποτελεί παράλληλα συνοικία του Μιντιλογλίου και υπάγεται στην Δημοτική Ενότητα Παραλίας του «καλλικρατικό» Δήμο Πατρέων. Γειτνιάζει με τη συνοικία της Φιλοθέης (πρώην: Κραβαριώτικα ή Κραβαριώτη), που ανήκει στον οικισμό και βρίσκεται ανατολικά του, ενώ απέχει περί τα 9 χλμ από το κέντρο της Πάτρας. Κατά την απογραφή του 2011 ο οικισμός είχε μόνιμο πληθυσμό 243 κατοίκους.

Οι Λυγιές είναι μικρό χωριό της πρώην Επαρχίας Πατρών και του Νομού Αχαΐας, το οποίο απέχει περίπου 14 χιλιόμετρα από την πόλη της Πάτρας. Είναι ευρέως γνωστό και με το παλιά του ονομασία Βόλα (ή Βόλας).

Τα Μοιραίικα είναι χωριό της πρώην επαρχίας Πατρών του Νομού Αχαΐας. Η περιοχή δύναται να εξυπηρετείται από τις 29 Φεβρουαρίου 2020 από τη Γραμμή 2 του Προαστιακού Σιδηρόδρομου Πάτρας μέσω της στάσης "Τσουκαλαίικα / Tsoukaleika".

Το Παυλόκαστρο είναι χωριό στην Αχαΐα. Διοικητικά ανήκει στη Θέα, παλαιότερα ανεξάρτητη κοινότητα και μετέπειτα δημοτικό διαμέρισμα του πρώην Δήμου Μεσσάτιδος και πλέον τοπική κοινότητα του Δήμου Πατρέων.

Το Πουρναρόκαστρο είναι μικρό χωριό της Αχαΐας, το οποίο διοικητικά υπάγεται στην Τοπική Κοινότητα Ελικίστρας του Δήμου Πατρέων.

Ο Ρωμανός είναι προάστιο αναπτύσσεται σε ένα από τα ψηλότερα σημεία της πόλης, η περιοχή προσφέρει πανοραμική θέα προς το κέντρο και τον ευρύτερο πολεοδομικό ιστό, ενώ βρίσκεται στα όρια του σχεδίου πόλης και της υφιστάμενης οικιστικής ανάπτυξης της Πάτρας

Το Σούλι (ή Παλαιό Σούλι) είναι χωριό (κοινότητα) του νομού Αχαΐας.

Με την ονομασία Σαλμενίκο είναι γνωστή μία σειρά οικισμών και πρώην κοινότητας στην Αχαΐα στις βόρειες παρυφές του Παναχαϊκού όρους. Πρόκειται για το Άνω Σαλμενίκο, το Κάτω Σαλμενίκο, το Νέο Σαλμενίκο και τη Βοτένη. Στην κοινότητα υπάγεται και το μοναστήρι της Αγίας Ελεούσας. Στην απογραφή του 2011 η κοινότητα βρέθηκε να έχει πληθυσμό 419 κατοίκους.

Η Βιβλιοθήκη του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών ιδρύθηκε το 1966 και λειτουργεί ως αυτοτελής υπηρεσία του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών.

Η Δημοτική Βιβλιοθήκη Πατρών, είναι ο οργανισμός (Ν.Π.Δ.Δ) κεντρικής διαχείρισης και διάθεσης βιβλίων του Δήμου Πατρέων, ελεύθερα, σε οποιοδήποτε Έλληνα ή αλλοδαπό πολίτη. Σήμερα το κεντρικό της κτήριο στεγάζεται σε νεοκλασικό οίκημα, στο κέντρο της Πάτρας, το οποίο αποπερατώθηκε επί δημαρχίας Βασιλείου Ρούφου, ενώ διαθέτει ακόμα τρία Παραρτήματα. Στο δυναμικό της εντάσσονται περίπου 200.000 τόμοι, που αφορούν κάθε είδος βιβλιογραφικής συγγραφικής προσπάθειας.

Η Διακίδειος Σχολή Λαού είναι πρώην εκπαιδευτικό ίδρυμα της Πάτρας που υπάρχει ακόμα σήμερα σαν πνευματική εστία. Η σημερινή σχολή θεωρείται συνέχεια παλιότερων σχολών με το ίδιο όνομα που επανιδρύονταν παίρνοντας και το αρχείο της σχολής. Εντοιχισμένη πλάκα στην πρόσοψη του κτιρίου αναφέρει ημερομηνία ίδρυσης το 1932. Το κτίριο της σχολής, που βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της πόλης, σήμερα χρησιμοποιείται για εκδηλώσεις και διαλέξεις.

Ο Διακονιάρης είναι χείμαρρος της Αχαΐας που διατρέχει στην Πάτρα και την ευρύτερη περιοχή της.

Ο Φίλερης είναι χείμαρρος της Αχαΐας. Αποκαλείται και με τις ονομασίες «Φιλιούρα» ή «Φιλιούρας» ή «Φύλλουρας».

Το Α΄ Νεκροταφείο Πατρών βρίσκεται στην περιοχή του Ζαβλανίου, βορειοανατολικά του κέντρου της πόλης.

Το Πάνθεον είναι κινηματογράφος και θέατρο στην Πάτρα. Βρίσκεται χτισμένο στην διασταύρωση των οδών Δημ. Γούναρη και Κανακάρη, στο κέντρο της πόλης. Αποτελεί επίσης τον παλιότερο σε λειτουργία κινηματογράφο της Πάτρας και της ευρύτερης περιοχής.

Το σχολικό συγκρότημα Γλαράκη (διδακτήρια Γλαράκη) είναι το πρώτο σχολικό συγκρότημα Δημοτικών Σχολείων στην Πάτρα. Ιδρύθηκε το 1930 και βρίσκεται στην Άνω Πόλη. Χτίστηκε σε χώρο όπου παλαιότερα υπήρχε το Κτήμα Γεωργίου Γλαράκη και για το λόγο αυτό το σχολείο συνδέθηκε με το όνομα του Γλαράκη ο οποίος διετέλεσε Νομάρχης Αχαΐας και Ηλείας το 1833-1836.

Ο Ξεροπόταμος, ή και Άνω Ξεροπόταμος, είναι χείμαρρος της Αχαΐας, ο οποίος αποτελεί παραπόταμο του Γλαύκου. Το καλοκαίρι έχει ελάχιστο νερό ενώ για κάποιο διάστημα μένει ξερό, αλλά το χειμώνα καθώς και τις περιόδους βροχοπτώσεων κατεβάζει πολύ νερό.

Οι Σκάλες της Οδού Αγίου Νικολάου βρίσκονται στην Πάτρα και πρόκειται για μία από τις πιο χαρακτηριστικές τοποθεσίες της πόλης. Αποτελούν σημαντικό αξιοθέατο και ιστορικό μνημείο, αλλά εντούτοις ο αρχικός σκοπός της κατασκευής τους διατηρείται ωστόσο αναλλοίωτος έως σήμερα. Πρόκειται, συν τοις άλλοις, για χαρακτηριστικό δείγμα της αρχιτεκτονικής κληρονομιάς της Πάτρας.

Ο Βερβενίκος (εναλλακτικά: Βερβενίκο ρέμα) είναι ένας μικρός ποταμός της Αχαΐας, ο οποίος αποτελεί τον πιο σημαντικό από τους παραπόταμους του Γλαύκου ποταμού.

Pititsa (Greek: Πιτίτσα) is a mountain village in the municipal unit of Rio, Achaea, Greece. It is situated in the northern foothills of the Panachaiko, at about 700 m elevation. It is 2 km southeast of Sella and 11 km east of Rio. It is known for the Pititsa hill climb, an uphill car race.

The Cathedral of Saint Andrew also called Cathedral Church of Saint Andrew (Greek: Ιερός Ναός Αγίου Ανδρέου) or simply Hagios Andreas is a Greek Orthodox basilica in the west side of the city center of Patras in Greece. Along with the nearby old church of St. Andrew (Greek: Παλαιός Ιερός Ναός Αγίου Ανδρέου), it constitutes a place of pilgrimage for Christians from all over the world. The Apollon Theatre (Greek: Θέατρο "Απόλλων", Theatro Apollon) is a theatre in Patras, Greece. Designed by the famous German architect Ernst Ziller, it was completed in 1872. The Apollon is located east of Georgiou I Square, one of Patras' popular squares. The theatre is a micrograph of the La Scala in Milan and is the oldest existing enclosed theatre of the same era. The Apollon Theatre has been the main stage of the Patras Municipal and Regional Theatre since 1988, and can hold up to 300 people.

Patras Province was a province covering the western part of the Achaea prefecture, Greece. Its largest city and seat of administration was Patras. Ano Kastritsi (Greek: Άνω Καστρίτσι) is a village in the municipal unit of Rio, Achaea, Greece. It is situated at about 500 m elevation in the forested northwestern foothills of the Panachaiko, 6 km southeast of Rio town centre, Kato Kastritsi is 4 km to the northwest. It is known for the views to the east part of Patras, the Corinthian Gulf, the Rio-Antirio Bridge, and for its taverns and food.

Kaminia (Greek: Καμίνια) is a village in Achaea, Greece. It is part of the municipal unit of Vrachnaiika. Kaminia is situated on the Ionian Sea coast, 15 km southwest of Patras, and 6 km east of Kato Achaia. Since the 1980s, the village is bypassed by Greek National Road 9 (Patras - Pyrgos - Kyparissia). Kaminia had a small train station on the currently unexploited Patras–Pyrgos railway.

Monodendri (Greek: Μονοδένδρι) is a suburban village located 10 km south of Patras, Greece. It is part of the municipal unit of Vrachnaiika. It is situated on the Gulf of Patras coast, adjacent to Roitika to the north, and Vrachnaiika to the southwest. The community has a disused train station on the line form Patras to Pyrgos. The Greek National Road 9 (Patras - Pyrgos) passes east of the village.

Ovria (Greek: Οβριά, also: Οβρυά - Ovrya) is a town in Achaea, Greece. It is a suburb of Patras, located 6 km south of Patras city centre. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Patras, of which it is a community. Between 1997 and 2011, it was the seat of the former municipality of Messatida. The Greek National Roads 9 (Patras - Pyrgos) and 33 (Patras - Tripoli) pass through the town. Ovria is in the transition zone from the densely populated coastal area to the hills in the southeast, including Omplos. Agriculture (olive groves, pastures) is still the dominant land use in the areas south and east of Ovria. Neighboring communities are Demenika to the northeast, Mintilogli to the west, Krini to the east, and Kallithea to the south.
