Olenus (Ancient Greek: Ὤλενος, romanized: Olenos) or Olenum was a polis (city-state) in ancient Achaea, Greece. It was an original member of the Achaean League, one of the 12 Achaean cities, situated on the coast, and on the left bank of the river Peirus, 40 stadia from Dyme, and 80 stadia from Patrae. On the revival of the Achaean League in 280 BCE, it appears that Olenus was still in existence, as Strabo says that it did not join the league; but the inhabitants subsequently abandoned the town, and retired to the neighbouring villages of Peirae (Πειραί), and Euryteiae (Εὐρυτειαί), and to Dyme. In the time of Polybius, however, Olenus was no longer inhabited; and in the time of Pausanias (2nd century) it was in ruins, and its territory belonged to Dyme.

Argyra (Ancient Greek: Ἀργυρᾶ) was a town or village in ancient Achaea, in the neighbourhood of Patrae. It was located near the river Selemnus, the spring Argyra and the town of Bolina. Pausanias says it was on the road from Patrae to Aegium, following the Caradrus river. Pausanias relates a local legend that Argyra was a sea-nymph, who fell in love with a shepherd boy named Selemnus and used to come up out of the sea to visit him, sleeping by his side, but when Selemnus lost its beauty, the nymph stopped visiting him and Selemnus died of a broken heart. Then, Aphrodite transformed Selemnus into a river, the Selemnos. In the war between the Achaeans and the Romans Patrae suffered so severely, that the greater part of the inhabitants abandoned the city and took up their abodes in the surrounding villages of Mesatis, Antheia, Bolina, Argyra, and Arba. A long time later, the Emperor Augustus forced the inhabitants of these places to abandon them to repopulate the city of Patrae. In the time of Pausanias (2nd century) the town was in ruins.

The arena is named after the great Greek wrestling champion of the early 20th century, and gold medalist at the 1906 Intercalated Games, Dimitrios Tofalos. Ο Αναλημματικός τοίχος των Υψηλών Αλωνίων στην Πάτρα είναι τοίχος κατασκευασμένος στα ρωμαϊκά χρόνια που διασώζεται και σήμερα. Ο τοίχος αυτός έχει δεχτεί στο πέρασμα των αιώνων προσθήκες, όπως στις αρχές του 19ου αιώνα με την ισοπέδωση του υψώματος των Ψηλαλωνίων όπου δέχτηκε πετρόκτιστη προσθήκη κατά ύψος, στην ρίζα του οποίου βρίσκεται, και δημιουργία πλατείας αλλά και την κατασκευή των καταφυγίων.

Το Ρωμαϊκό στάδιο της Πάτρας, πολλές φορές αποκαλείται και Αμφιθέατρο-στάδιο ή Θέατρο, είναι ερείπια του ρωμαϊκού σταδίου της ρωμαϊκής Πάτρας που διασώζονται σήμερα στο κέντρο της πόλης. Βρίσκεται στο σημερινό κέντρο Πάτρας δίπλα στο ρωμαϊκό ωδείο που επίσης διασώζεται, και καταλαμβάνει μεγάλη έκταση κάτω από πολυκατοικίες κι άλλα κτίσματα, ενώ μέρος του, η ανατολική πλευρά, έχει αποκαλυφτεί. Το στάδιο διασωζόταν μέχρι το 1870 όπου τότε επάνω του κατασκευάστηκαν οικίες για να αποκαλυφθεί πάλι την δεκαετία του 90.

Η Ρωμαϊκή γέφυρα Πάτρας είναι μνημείο ρωμαϊκών χρόνων στην Πάτρα. Το Ρωμαϊκό νυμφαίο της οδού Κανάρη είναι ερείπια συγκροτήματος νυμφαίου ρωμαϊκών χρόνων που έχει βρεθεί στην Πάτρα. Τα κατάλοιπα του μνημείου είναι ορατά στο κέντρο της πόλης στην διασταύρωση των οδών Βλάχου και Κανάρη. Το νυμφαίο ήταν λατρευτικός χώρος αφιερωμένος στις νύμφες και χώρος αναψυχής με πίδακες νερού και κήπους. Το μνημείο βρέθηκε κατά την διάρκεια οικοδομικών εργασιών για την κατασκευή οικοδομής.

Το Εθνικό Αθλητικό & Ναυτικό Κέντρο (Ε.Α.Ν.Κ.) Πάτρας είναι κολυμβητήριο στην πόλη της Πάτρας. Το Θεριανό (απαντάται συχνά ως: του Θεριανού) είναι χωριό της πρώην Επαρχίας Πατρών του Νομού Αχαΐας, καθώς και πρώην δημοτικό διαμέρισμα του Δήμου Βραχναίικων με πληθυσμό 133 κατοίκους σύμφωνα με την Εθνική Απογραφή του 2011. Το 2001 είχε 189 κάτοικους. Βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 140 μέτρων περίπου και απέχει περί τα 17 χιλιόμετρα από την πόλη της Πάτρας.
