Plav Municipality

The Battle of Novšiće (Serbian: Boj na Novšiću/Бој на Новшићу; Bitka na Novšićima/Битка на Новшићима, Albanian: Beteja e Nokshiqit) was a battle for control over Plav and Gusinje fought on 4 December 1879 between forces of the Principality of Montenegro led by Marko Miljanov and local pro-Ottoman forces which included irregulars of the League of Prizren, both commanded by Ali Pasha, the Kaymekam of Gusinje. The League of Prizren consisted mainly of Albanians from Plav and Gusinje in Scutari Vilayet and irregulars from Kosovo Vilayet.

Visitor (Montenegrin: Виситор) is a 2,211-metre-high (7,254 ft) mountain in the Dinaric Alps in Montenegro. It is situated west of Plav and Lake Plav (Montenegrin: Plavsko jezero), from which the river Lim flows. The Visitor mountain stretches for 12 kilometres to the north-west of the Plav lake and reaches the altitude of 2,211 m (7,254 ft) at the Bandera or Plana summit. It is home to the eponymous lake (Montenegrin: Visitorsko jezero) (1,820 m (5,971 ft) above sea level, 92 m (302 ft) long, 73 m (240 ft) wide, 4 m (13 ft) deep). While Visitor foothills are covered with forest, its upper part is made up of alpine meadows and rocks.

Stadion Pod Racinom is a multi-use stadium in Plav, Montenegro. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Jezero.

Stadion u Murinu, or Stadion Lugovi, is a football stadium in Murino, Plav Municipality, Montenegro. Situated in the valley of Lim river, it is used for football matches. It is the home ground of FK Polimlje.

The Guri i Kuq Lakes or Liqenet e Kuqishtes (Albanian: Liqeni i Gurit të Kuq, lit. 'Red Stone Lake'; Serbian: Језеро Жути камен, romanized: Jezero Žuti kamen, lit. 'Yellow Stone Lake') are glacial lakes in Kosovo, located on the Guri i Kuq mountain, in the Accursed Mountains range.
