The Sillery Heritage Site (French: site patrimonial de Sillery) is an area containing historic residences and institutional properties located in the Sainte-Foy–Sillery–Cap-Rouge borough of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It was the first of 13 declared heritage sites (French: sites patrimoniaux déclarés) of the Province of Quebec, and is among the four of which are located in Quebec City. Having been called the "cradle of the French Canadian nation," the heritage site includes approximately 350 buildings along 3.5 kilometres (2.175 miles) of the Saint Lawrence River shoreline. The Sillery Heritage Site includes buildings constructed during every major period of Quebec's history, dating back to the time of New France.

St. Michel de Sillery Church (French: église Saint-Michel de Sillery) is a Roman Catholic parish church in Sillery, Quebec City. It is situated between Quebec Route 136 to the south and the College of Jesus and Mary of Sillery to the north, and is part of the Sillery Heritage Site in the borough of Sainte-Foy–Sillery–Cap-Rouge. Although the current church was built in 1852, and originally dedicated to the Irish Saint Columba, the parish was founded in 1644, with a chapel constructed on the same site by the Jesuits.

The 2015 Vanier Cup, the 51st edition of the Canadian university football championship, took place on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Telus Stadium in Quebec City, Quebec. It was the fourth time that the city of Quebec has hosted the Vanier Cup. For the third consecutive year the championship game was played in the province of Quebec. The game featured the Canada West Champion UBC Thunderbirds and the RSEQ Champion Montreal Carabins. This was the second appearance for the Carabins - in back-to-back years - and the sixth for the Thunderbirds.

The Église Saint-Roch, in the parish of Notre-Dame de Saint-Roch is the largest church in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It was constructed between 1914 and 1923. It is the fourth successive church of the same name to be constructed at the site. The church lost its visual dominance of the city after the construction of a mall in 1974. The mall has since been demolished and today the church is at the heart of the revitalisation of the neighbourhood.

The Park of the Kabir Kouba Cliff and Waterfall is a public park in Quebec City, Quebec crossed by the Saint-Charles River. The rapids and falls of this section of the river are called Kabir Kouba the «river of a thousand bends» in the Montagnais language. An interpretive center and trails permit the observation of the Kabir Kouba waterfall that has a height of 28 metres. The trails also provide a view of the canyon which at its highest point measures 42 metres as well as a rich variety of flora, fauna and fossils dating over 455 million years old. The interpretive center also offers services such as Kabir Kouba by Lantern, A Day at Loretteville package as well as guided visits of the falls. A song by the singer Claire Pelletier, Kabir Kouba, evoques the many Huron legends that honour the river and the waterfall.

Stadacona was a 16th-century St. Lawrence Iroquoian village not far from where Quebec City was founded in 1608.

In Quebec City, the term promontory of Quebec refers to the area on which is built the upper part of the borough of La Cité-Limoilou, including Old Quebec (where the promontory is referred to as Cap Diamant). This area covers the eastern half of a larger plateau attested in French as colline or even plate-forme de Québec (Quebec hill). The western portion of this plateau is occupied by upper Sainte-Foy–Sillery–Cap-Rouge (ie. most of this borough — whereas for La Cité-Limoilou, less than half of it is located uptown).

The Château Haldimand was a castle that stood where the Château Frontenac now stands in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The building was constructed between 1784 and 1786.

Fort Charlesbourg Royal (1541—1543) is a National Historic Site in the Cap-Rouge neighbourhood of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Established by Jacques Cartier in 1541, it was France's first attempt at a colony in North America, and was abandoned two years later. In 1608, France would establish a successful colony, the Habitation de Québec, 15 kilometers east of the Cap-Rouge fort.

Quebec Skating Rink was the name of several ice rinks in Quebec City, Quebec. The first was built in 1851, and was the world's first covered skating rink, and was located near the St. Lawrence River. The second rink, built in 1864, was situated on the Grande-Allée, as were the third and fourth rinks. The rinks were developed initially for ice skating, but the developing sport of ice hockey led to the inauguration of the Quebec Hockey Club in the 1880s, which used the rink as their home rink. The hockey club moved to the new, larger Quebec Arena in 1913.

Quartier du Petit Champlain is a small commercial zone in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It is located in the neighbourhood of Vieux-Québec–Cap-Blanc–colline Parlementaire in the borough of La Cité-Limoilou, near Place Royale and its Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church. Its main street is the Rue du Petit-Champlain at the foot of Cap Diamant. It is claimed that it's the oldest commercial district in North America.

Route 136 is a provincial highway located in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec. The highway runs from Autoroute 440 (Autoroute Dufferin-Montmorency) to Autoroute 73 near the Pierre Laporte and Quebec bridges in Quebec City. A short route, most of Route 136 is a parkway along the Saint Lawrence River connecting the Basse-Ville of Old Quebec to the bridges. The eastern section follows city streets in that community.

Habitation de Québec was an ensemble of buildings interconnected by Samuel de Champlain when he founded Québec during 1608. The site is located in what is now Vieux-Québec, on the site of present-day Place Royale. It was located near the site of the abandoned First Nations village of Stadacona that Jacques Cartier had visited during 1535. It served as a fort and as dwellings for the new colony in New France.

La Maison Simons (colloquially Simons) is a Canadian department store chain founded in 1840 by Richard and Peter Simons. The business was established by the son of a Scottish immigrant to Quebec as a dry goods store. The Tournoi de Québec was a WTA Tour International level tennis tournament held in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Held from 1993 to 2018, the tournament was the last women's professional tennis tournament still played on indoor carpet courts. It was held at the PEPS stadium. The event had several sponsors and the tournament name changed accordingly. The tournament was known as Challenge Bell from the first edition to 2013, and was later sponsored by Coupe Banque Nationale and called the National Bank Cup.

Université TÉLUQ is a public French-language distance learning university, part of the Université du Québec system. The Battle of Sainte-Foy (French: Bataille de Sainte-Foy) sometimes called the Battle of Quebec (French: Bataille du Quebec), was fought on April 28, 1760 near the British-held town of Quebec in the French province of Canada during the Seven Years' War (called the French and Indian War in the United States). It was a victory for the French under the Chevalier de Lévis over the British army under General Murray. The battle was notably bloodier than the Battle of the Plains of Abraham of the previous September, with 833 French casualties to 1,124 British casualties.

Cap Diamant (English: Cape Diamond) is a cape on an edge of the Promontory of Quebec and on which Quebec City is located, formed by the confluence of a bend in the St. Lawrence River to the south and east, and the much smaller Saint-Charles River to the north.

The Cathedral-Basilica of Notre-Dame de Québec ("Our Lady of Quebec City"), located at 16, rue de Buade, Quebec City, Quebec, is the primatial church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Quebec. The Battle of Quebec (French: Bataille de Québec) was fought on December 31, 1775, between American Continental Army forces and the British defenders of Quebec City early in the American Revolutionary War. The battle was the first major defeat of the war for the Americans, and it came with heavy losses. General Richard Montgomery was killed, Benedict Arnold was wounded, and Daniel Morgan and more than 400 men were taken prisoner. The city's garrison, a motley assortment of regular troops and militia led by Quebec's provincial governor, General Guy Carleton, suffered a small number of casualties.

The Quebec City mosque shooting (French: Attentat de la grande mosquée de Québec) was an attack by a single gunman on the evening of January 29, 2017, at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec City, a mosque in the Sainte-Foy neighbourhood of Quebec City, Canada. Six worshippers were killed and five others seriously injured after evening prayers when the gunman entered the prayer hall shortly before 8:00 pm and opened fire for about two minutes with a 9mm Glock pistol. Approximately 40 people were reported present at the time of the shooting.

Le Moulin à vent de l'Hôpital-Général-de-Québec est un ancien moulin à vent situé à Québec dans la Basse-ville sur le boulevard Langelier, à la limite du quartier Saint-Sauveur et du quartier Saint-Roch, proche de la municipalité de paroisse Notre-Dame-des-Anges qui renferme l'Hôpital général de Québec. Sa première construction remonte à 1731. Le moulin a été reconnu bien archéologique du Québec en 1988. Son terrain est maintenant aménagé en un parc public nommé parc du Petit Moulin. Parc réaménagé en septembre 2019 et dorénavant, il porte le nom de Parc du Moulin-de-l'hôpital, tel qu'indiqué par la nouvelle pancarte de la Ville. Des travaux de restauration ont été effectués en 2013. Il compte parmi les 18 derniers moulins à vent du Québec dont le seul de la ville de Québec.

La redoute Dauphine est l’un des plus anciens bâtiments militaires de Québec et du Canada, situé dans le site patrimonial du Parc-de-l'Artillerie, au sein du lieu historique national du Canada des Fortifications-de-Québec, dans le secteur historique du Vieux-Québec. Sa construction débuta en 1712 pour ne se parachever qu'en 1747-1748, après modification du plan originel. L'objectif initial de la redoute Dauphine est d'assurer la défense de la ville de Québec du côté nord-ouest.

Le musée de géologie René-Bureau est un musée qui porte sur la géologie. The Battle of Beauport, also known as the Battle of Montmorency, fought on 31 July 1759, was an important confrontation between the British and French armed forces during the Seven Years' War (also known as the French and Indian War and the War of Conquest) of the French province of Canada. The attack conducted by the British against the French defense line of Beauport, some 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) east of Quebec was checked, and the army of General James Wolfe retreated with 443 casualties and losses.

Route 175 is a major north–south highway on both sides of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada. Its southern terminus is in Saint-Lambert-de-Lauzon at the junction of Route 218 and its northern terminus is in Saguenay at the junction of Route 172, in the former city of Chicoutimi. Route 175 crosses the Saint Lawrence River on the Quebec Bridge, and a little further north of downtown Quebec City, it merges with Autoroute 73 for about 30 km before continuing through the Laurentides Wildlife Reserve as a two-lane divided highway in Stoneham.

It is located in the Petit Champlain commercial district, at the foot of Cap Diamant, and contains many boutique shops. Quartier du Petit Champlain is claimed to be the oldest commercial district in North America. It is named for Samuel de Champlain, who founded Quebec City in 1608.

The Cap-Rouge trestle (French: Tracel de Cap-Rouge) is a railway trestle bridge inaugurated in 1908 and still in use in the community of Cap-Rouge, part of the borough of Sainte-Foy–Sillery–Cap-Rouge in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It was commissioned in 1906 as a section of the National Transcontinental Railway to span the Rivière du Cap Rouge valley and connect the eastbound railway with the newly built and nearby Quebec Bridge. It was built as a steel structure by the Dominion Bridge Company at a total cost of 800 000 Canadian dollars.

The Ursuline Monastery of Quebec City (French: Monastère des Ursulines de Québec) was founded by a missionary group of Ursuline nuns in 1639 under the leadership of Mother Marie of the Incarnation, O.S.U. It is the oldest institution of learning for women in North America. Today, the monastery serves as the General Motherhouse of the Ursuline Sisters of the Canadian Union. The community there also operates an historical museum and continues to serve as a teaching centre.

Saint-Michel, appelé provisoirement quartier 5-2 sur les documents officiels de la ville de Québec, est un des 35 quartiers de la ville de Québec, et un des cinq qui sont situés dans l'arrondissement Beauport. Il tire son nom de l'avenue Saint-Michel, une de ses principales artères.

La Commission scolaire des Premières-Seigneuries est une ancienne commission scolaire québécoise de la région de la Capitale-Nationale, au Québec. Elle a été créée le 1^er juillet 1998 par la fusion des commissions scolaires Des Ilets, de Charlesbourg, Beauport et Des Chutes-Montmorency. Elle dessert une partie du territoire de la ville de Québec (Arrondissements de Beauport et Charlesbourg ainsi que le quartier de Lac-Saint-Charles), les MRC de la Côte-de-Beaupré et de L'île-d'Orléans, ainsi qu'une partie de la MRC de la Jacques-Cartier (municipalités de Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval, Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury et Lac-Beauport).

Le moulin des Jésuites de Charlesbourg est un ancien moulin à eau situé à Québec, à l’est du site patrimonial de Charlesbourg (Trait-Carré) sur la seigneurie de Notre-Dame-des-Anges. Faisant partie d'une série de six moulins, l'édifice en pierre fut construit par les Jésuites en 1742. La rivière des Commissaires qui alimentait le moulin coulait à 1,5 kilomètre au nord. Elle a été détournée à bras d'hommes d'où l'expression "amener l'eau au moulin".

Le Jardin zoologique du Québec est un ancien parc zoologique situé dans l'arrondissement de Charlesbourg, à Québec. Ouvert en 1931, il est fermé depuis le 31 mars 2006. Une partie de ses terrains est ouverte au public sous le nom de Parc des Moulins.

La promenade Samuel-De Champlain se situe à Québec sur la berge du Saint-Laurent entre la côte Ross et la côte de Sillery. Elle constitue le principal legs du gouvernement du Québec à sa capitale nationale pour son 400^e anniversaire en 2008. Elle doit son nom à Samuel de Champlain, fondateur de la ville de Québec.

L’église Saint-Cœur-de-Marie était une église située dans le quartier du Vieux-Québec–Cap-Blanc–colline Parlementaire de l'arrondissement La Cité-Limoilou, à Québec. Ouvert au culte en 1920, le bâtiment est désacralisé en 1997 puis vendu, et finalement démoli en 2019.
