Ergene (Turkish: Ergene Nehri; Greek: Εργίνης; Eryinis, Ancient Greek: Ἀγριάνης, Agriánēs) is a major left tributary of the Maritsa (Meriç) river, flowing entirely in the East Thrace region of Turkey.
The Dadia Forest is a large area of natural woodland in the Evros regional unit in northeastern Greece. The forest consists mostly of oak and pine. It is one of the most important areas in Europe for birds of prey, and the only forest in Europe where all four European species of vulture can be seen. It is a fully managed protected area of 7,290 hectares (18,000 acres) and is visited by about 35,000 people each year.
Orfeas (Greek: Ορφέας), named after the mythical musician Orpheus, is a former municipality in the Evros regional unit, East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Soufli, of which it is a municipal unit. Its land area is 643.266 km2 (248.366 sq mi). It is located in the north-central part of Evros, and borders both southeastern Bulgaria and northwestern Turkey. The seat of the municipality was in Lavara (pop. 747 in 2021). Much of the land is mountainous and forested to the west, extending up to the Rhodope regional unit. It is linked with GR-51 (Alexandroupoli – Orestiada – Edirne in Turkey and Svilengrad in Bulgaria). The town of Lávara sits on a plain. It is located SE of Svilengrad, S of Edirne, Turkey and Orestiada, and 13 km N of Soufli and 78 km N of Alexandroupoli. The municipality's next largest towns are Agriani, Mega Dereio and Amorio.
Mega Dereio (Greek: Μέγα Δέρειο) is a village in the central part of the Evros regional unit in Greece. It is part of the municipal unit of Orfeas within the municipality of Soufli. Together with 6 other villages, it forms the community of Mikro Dereio. It is situated near the upper course of the river Erythropotamos, in the Eastern Rhodope Mountains. The Greek National Road 53 (Alexandroupoli – Mikro Dereio – Kyprinos – Ormenio) passes through the village.
The Seyyid Ali Sultan Tekke (Greek: Τεκές Σεγίτ Αλή Σουλτάν, Turkish: Seyyit Ali Sultan Tekke), also known as the Kizil Deli Tekke, or the Roussa Tekke, or the Monastery of Roussa, is a historical Ottoman tekke near the village of Roussa, in the Evros regional unit of Western Thrace in Greece. It is an Ottoman Alevi tekke, that is a gathering place for dervishes, especially those belonging to the Bektashi order. Today it has been restored and it is occasionally operational for the local community. It is considered one of the oldest preserved tekkes in the Balkan peninsula, and a very important center for Bektashism.
Evros (Greek: Περιφερειακή ενότητα Έβρου, romanized: Perifereiakí enótita Évrou) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the region of East Macedonia and Thrace. Its name is derived from the river Evros, which appears to have been a Thracian hydronym. Evros is the northernmost regional unit. It borders Turkey to the east, across the river Evros, and it borders Bulgaria to the north and the northwest.

Το Μουσείο Μετάξης στο Σουφλί παρουσιάζει όλες τις φάσεις και τα στάδια από την προβιομηχανική διαδικασία της εκτροφής των μεταξοσκωλήκων (σηροτροφία) και της επεξεργασίας του μεταξιού (μεταξουργία), μέσα στο κοινωνικο-οικονομικό πλαίσιο που ανέδειξε την περιοχή ως σημαντικό μεταξοπαραγωγικό κέντρο της Ελλάδας (τέλη 19ου - μέσα 20ού αι). Το μουσείο ανήκει στο Δίκτυο Μουσείων του Πολιτιστικού Ιδρύματος Ομίλου Πειραιώς.

Η Μονή Δαδιάς ή Μονή Γενεθλίου της Θεοτόκου Δαδιάς βρίσκεται στην περιφερειακή ενότητα Έβρου σε απόσταση 10,5 χλμ. ΝΔ. από το Σουφλί και 63 χλμ. ΒΑ. από την Αλεξανδρούπολη. Βρίσκεται μέσα στο Εθνικό πάρκο Δαδιάς - Λευκίμμης - Σουφλίου και στην τοποθεσία "Παλαιοχώρα". Περιβάλλεται από χαμηλούς λόφους με άφθονα νερά και είναι κτισμένη στη βάση ενός κατάφυτου και επιβλητικού βράχου που έχει ύψος 80 μέτρα.
