The Cyprus Classic Motorcycle Museum is a museum in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, dedicated to the history of motorcycles between 1914 and 1983. The collection consists of more than 400 motorcycles. Companies represented are AJS, MV Agusta, Matchless, Norton, BSA, Triumph, Ariel, BMW, James, Moto Guzzi, Royal Enfield and many more brands. The museum was created in 2000 by Andreas Nicolaou. It is the biggest motorcycle museum in the Middle East.

The Cyprus Police Academy (Greek: Αστυνομική Ακαδημία Κύπρου, Turkish: Kıbrıs Polis Akademisi) is the main educational institution for law enforcement officers in Cyprus. It was founded in 1990 in succession to the Police Training School. It is recognised as a higher education institution by the Cyprus Council for the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (ΚΥ.Σ.Α.Τ.Σ.) and operates under the Ministry of Justice and Public Order as a police unit in the organisational structure of the Cyprus Police. It works on a permanent basis, both for the education of cadet constables and for the training of all police members irrelevant of their rank. Primary mission of the academy is to provide adequate education and training to all members of the service, so that they become competent to perform the diverse tasks of law enforcement.

Rigenis Street (Greek: οδός Ρηγαίνης· Rigainis Street) is a shopping street in central Nicosia that runs from Ledra Street to Solomos Square. It was the busiest street in Nicosia during the British Colonial period in Cyprus after Hermes Street and Ledra Street. Rigenis Street is 0.3 km long. One publication stated that "mention of 'Rigenis Street' does not call into mind the glorious queen who used to rule Cyprus but rather the cabaret joints for which it is notorious".

Alashiya (Akkadian: 𒀀𒆷𒅆𒅀 Alašiya [a-la-ši-ia]; Ugaritic: 𐎀𐎍𐎘𐎊 ẢLṮY; Linear B: 𐀀𐀨𐀯𐀍 Alasios [a-ra-si-jo]; Hieratic "'irs3"), also spelled Alasiya, also known as the Kingdom of Alashiya, was a state which existed in the Middle and Late Bronze Ages, and was situated somewhere in the Eastern Mediterranean. It was a major source of goods, especially copper, for ancient Egypt and other states in the Ancient Near East. It is referred to in a number of the surviving texts and is now thought to be the ancient name of Cyprus, or an area of Cyprus. This was confirmed by the scientific analysis performed in Tel Aviv University of the clay tablets which were sent from Alashiya to other rulers.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Representation in Cyprus is an office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) opened in August 1974 upon the request of the Government of Cyprus and the Secretary-General of the United Nations. UNHCR Representation in Cyprus was designated as Coordinator of the United Nations Humanitarian Assistance for Cyprus. UNHCR was also responsible upon the request of the Cyprus Government to examine applications for refugee status.

The Higher Technical Institute of Cyprus was a public tertiary educational institution established in 1968 as a joint project between the Government of Cyprus and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Up to 1973 it was funded both by the Cyprus Government and the special UN fund. In 1973 the Cyprus Government (through the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance) assumed the exclusive responsibility for its operation. Lessons were taught in the English language and lasted for 3 years. Due to the technical nature of the degrees offered, there was a considerable time spent by students in practical experience within the relevant industries.

Agios Georgios Hill is an archaeological site in Nicosia, Cyprus. The site is rich and complex, spanning almost the entire history of Nicosia from the Chalcolithic through the Byzantine and Lusignan periods. The surveyed archaeological area is about 650 m2, the whole area measuring 49500 m2. The hill is adjacent to the Ministry of Interior (Cyprus) and the Ministry of Finance. A small chapel of St George the Healer (Άγιος Γεώργιος Θεραπευτής) stands on the eastern edge of the excavated area.

Ethnikos Assia Football Club (Greek: Εθνικός 'Ασσιας) is a Cypriot football team currently playing in the Cypriot Second Division. The team was established in Assia, Famagusta, but since the Turkish invasion of 1974, Ethnikos became a refugee team. The club is now based in the capital Nicosia and play their home games at the Makario. The club has played three times in the first division, the last time was during the 2001–02 season.

Araplar Camii veya kilise iken Stavru Misiriku Şapeli, Lefkoşa'da bir cami. Tek bir minaresi bulunur. 1570'lerden önce yapılmış Stavru Misiriku Şapeli'nin camiye çevrilmiş halidir. Kıbrıs'ın fethinden kısa süre sonra camiye çevrilmiştir. Surlariçi bölgesinde, Faneromeni Kilisesi'nin doğusunda bulunur.

Peristerona Camii, Kıbrıs Cumhuriyeti'nin Peristerona köyünde yer alan bir cami. 18. yüzyılda yapılan camiye 19. yüzyıl başlarında eklemeler yapılmıştır. Diğer Osmanlı camilerinde olduğu gibi kesme taştan yapılmıştır. Minaresi iki balkonludur. Ayrıca camin yanında bir de medrese bulunmaktadır.

Η Τηλλυρία είναι ορεινή χερσόνησος της Κύπρου στο βορειοδυτικό μέρος του νησιού ανάμεσα στον Kόλπο Χρυσοχούς και τον Kόλπο της Μόρφου, και έχει μήκος 6 χιλιόμετρα και πλάτος 30. Το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της βρίσκεται στην επαρχία Λευκωσίας, ενώ μέρος της στην Πάφου και στην κατεχόμενη Κύπρο. Στην περιοχή της Τηλλυρίας βρίσκεται και το χωριό των Κοκκίνων η μόνη κατεχόμενη περιοχή που είναι περίκλειστη από εδάφη της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας.

Το Υπουργείο Μεταφορών, Επικοινωνιών και Έργων της Κύπρου δημιουργήθηκε στις 9 Απριλίου 2015. Η έδρα του Υπουργείο Μεταφορών, Επικοινωνιών και Έργων βρίσκεται στον Άγιο Ανδρέα. Προηγουμένως υπήρχε το Υπουργείο Συγκοινωνιών και Έργων (1960-2015).
